I was racing my friend today in his Lexus IS300 and I had him for awhile, but eventually he pulled on me pretty good, it was a fun race through traffic () but he deff had me...Time to start the engine mods

 

Put a turbo in that LS and he will see nothing but tailights =D Or show him a SS/SC =D Did you ever see those Lexus IS300s with the V-8s? I think they have a differant name. Those things are badass!

 

What year was the Lexus? I'm guessing it wasn't the latest body style.

 

Haha I know a is that putting close to 500 at the wheels haha. Its bad ass, built turbo, and clean as hell.

 

The IS-300 is a pretty decent car... think BMW 3-series... they handle very nicely... and respond to mods very very well. A turbo IS-300 is something I wouldn't even want to touch.

Now the new ones... the IS350 is a 300hp monster that'll run 13's stock. I'm steering well clear of those.

The IS series never came with a V8... you may be thinking of the SC series coupes... came as either a 3.0L 225hp I-6 (think Supra) or a 4.0L 290hp V8. I've smoked a SC300 before... not really a big deal. Those cars are pretty heavy, and most of them I see are old and beaten up... usually driven by the kinds of folks who think they are superior to everyone on the road b/c they have a luxury car. Not seen a SC400 on the road.
