Gto

theres a lot of TBSS guys on ls1gto, so i'm learnin bout your car too. lol
i was basing this on the fact i put $8k-$9k into my cobalt, and with that, i can buy a TVS2300 and a forged rotating assembly to handle it (anywhere from 383-402 on stock block). throw a couple hundred more for a fueling solution to this tho, and another couple grand for a stronger rear end, and you're looking at a possible 1000bhp build here...
same motor

Yea, I as gonna say independent rear, they cant turn for ****.
Have fun making them "look silly"
I trap over 120 with a manifold, a cam, and headers lol.
Hey, yea I have been here for awhile lol

its already been proven that fully bolted lnf (30psi) will lose to a headers/tune ls2 gto.
i swear some ppl on here when they get a tune think they have the worlds fastest car, glad im not associated with these ppl anymore

The same goes for some V8 owners too. They think it's impossible for a bolted and tuned SS to beat a STOCK or lightly modded V8. Heavily modded V8 newer then 2000 is most likely untouchable for a LNF without a bigger turbo.
It did seem like it was a LS1 rather then a LS2 for how much he pulled. I pulled a couple cars on a bolted LS1 GTO when I was tune only and DP which would have put me around 300whp. He stopped my pull about 110-120 though. Let off at 130.
Some of you guys on here obviously have very little experience with LSX cars and other cars in general.
Yes, the Cobalt SS T/C's are quick. Yes, they make peak torque at a low RPM. But the reality is that you aren't even going to beat even a stock LS2 GTO with Cobalt SS unless you have some serious mods.
My friend has an '05 LS2 GTO and I've driven it plenty of times. It will absolutely destroy a Cobalt SS T/C stock for stock. With mods it just gets worse. And everyone knows FWD sucks for traction, so you aren't winning any dig races either.

might get some AFR 215's first though to tide me over...also CARB legal
Not trying to say I don't believe you man, don't take it that way. Anything can happen given specific conditions.
Just saying I've driven both cars, and i just don't see a Cobalt SS beating up on an LS2 M6 GTO, both drivers being equal. And like I said, thats from personal experience, having driven both cars.
