most of the larger vendors on ls1gto.com have it listed. its about $6k for a brand new one (i think price went up this year too ). Its a standard magnuson kit...nothin custom or anything. They have a TVS2300 kit as well, but that one isnt going to be CARB legal any time soon. Then there's the much anticipated TVS3100 (only one vendor has a prototype of this blower)

pretty sure the M112 and M122 already are carb legal (i know for sure the 112 is), but theyre trying to get carb #s for the new gen of TVS blowers.

Like I have been saying time and time again and it sure seems to prove true is a good tune only SS/TC is about equal to a stock LS2 GTO. Fully bolted the TC has the edge by a few cars on a stock LS2, now do full bolt ons with the GTO and they are fairly close with the edge going to the LS2. Reason being is even with a fully bolted TC they are still only strong under a 100, and with traction and what not TC's only have a small like 50-60 mph window where their car is strong (once traction is good and before they get to a 100ish).

I haven't seen this race as youtube is blocked at work but it sounds like many cars were pulled and it surely is not indictive of the performance of the car. The LS2 stock with a poor driver can run any where from a 14.0 at 103 (if you run worse then that then please sell the car) to a 12.8 at 110 with a mad man behind the wheel, get what I am saying?

Either or that day the OP was the victor, but might not be the case next time.

a stock LS2 GTO has no ***** what so ever at a high altitude. That I can say, my slowpoke Maybellene did nothing when stock.

Just saying I've driven both cars, and i just don't see a Cobalt SS beating up on an LS2 M6 GTO, both drivers being equal. And like I said, thats from personal experience, having driven both cars.
oic alright lol

the video is dark so it kinda bloat's the result's most of the time it was 21/2-31/2 car's depending on how much traction i could get

Very true that's why N/A car's don't do as well at bandimere and where i'm at it's 3,891 FT up so that's just as bad as Denver. So it probably helped me a little

that's true. get them at sea leavel, with some mods and they're beasts. You've seen my thread. I barely could hang onto one with a pretty aggressive tune - starting from 60 doesn't help either.

i love it soooo much more. Theres really no comparison IMO. Plus, having a powerplant that really has mods like +25hp for headers, +20hp for an intake manifold, etc, is just ridiculus. a FULL bolt on LSx can gain 50-75hp...then throw cams and heads into the mix and make a crapload more power

Stock GTO's are awful from a dig. They wheel hop almost as bad as a stock supercharged SS Cobalt.

The A4 GTO's are not bad stock from a dig.

I have the pedders Strip II package on mine which is basicly 1 inch front drop and 3/4 in raised rear with big bore shocks, this helps the car really put the power on the ground and allowed my GTO to run a 1.85 60ft on street tires, puny little 245's at that. That also was on 571hp...

Now that you told the altitude the results make a little more sense.

I've only driven M6's.

Fun cars, I was SO close to buying one but reality (tuition bill) set in and that was the end of that.

I didn't think you were lying, you had videos to back it up even. The results just seemed odd not knowing you were at a high altitude.

My LS2 GTO when stock at a DA of 6500ft ran a best of a 14.3@97mph... Altitude makes a hugh difference and gives a boosted car quite the advantage, as you already know..
