Had a run today.

Its been a long time since I have done any street pulls with anyone. My friend has a 09 buell xb12ss, just got a filter, exhaust, and programmer. Bike is a 12.0 bike all day long, and he wanted to see what it did from a roll against the balt. We ran from a 40 two times, first run he wheelied and I spun so we quit. Second run he got a good start and I spun again but not to bad, his back tire at my front bumper, hit third and I pulled it back to where we started, side by side through third, hit forth and started to pull him by a little and we shut down at 115-120mph pretty much even. Just goes to show all those runs with 600's everyone has is they beat the rider and not the bike. My buddie gets beat by about 5-7 bikes to 120 by our friends filter, exhaust, tune cbr 600. Just thought I would share.

Ive hung with 2 different 600's on the highway. 1 I actually pulled on slightly above 120. 750's and up sportbike will be a wrap tho! lol!

The Buell is a Vtwin, they make good Tq but not as nice of a HP curve as a Japanese sport bike.

trap is about 115 on the buell. All the older model 600's we may have a chance. But anything 08 and even some 07 models we don't really have to much of a chance. And 750's are just insaine, I am looking at a 09 gsxr 750 right now. All black FTW.

I think anytime you even beat a legitamate newer 600 you have a fast ass car, let alone a busa. I ran my buddie from works busa and he shifted at 8 grand and only 3/4ths throttle and still pulled me good.

What were they Honda's?

Any real 600, I doubt anybody on this site would hang with, weather along pull on, go up on an R6 or a GSR 600 and you'll be left i'm sure.

As long as they dude knows how to ride anyway

Tell me your kidding?

Because theres no ******* way haha

You'd need a 1000 + AWHP Evo to do that.

Sorry but I just don't believe you know anybody that pulls on a 1300cc Bike.

Thats a video of my brothers 03 Cobra Vs my Buddies FP Red Evo 9 MR

500+ AWHP Evo thats pretty damn fast, and he still gets left by TRAINS when it comes to stock busa's

It dont take that much hp to beat a bike. A stock busa traps low to mid 140's. I know 650whp srt's that trap 143-145mph. And a high 750-800hp srt that has trapped 155 this year.

That was my favorite color combo untill they came out with the all black. The dealer had a k8 orange and black still in June of 09, the price was only 8 grand brand new never prepped.

^ Did not even have the intelligence to wear gear like a helmet...btw sunglasses do not help your vision what so ever at those speeds..oh wait maybe its DARK OUT! rider=FAIL. Ive never seen a Busa launch that horribly...especially against a 650 awhp car that generally sucks dick at roll racing and gets handed it. Everyone on this site knows awd is not for roll racing...yet here is a busa getting mopped...holy retarded.

you shouldnt be on a motorcycle without a helmet. that alone shows how much of a squid he is. let alone racing without full gear.

yup. people are stupid. they say if you fall at 80mph on a bike youre dead. thats false if youre wearing protective gear. granted i was on a track (VIR) but i low sided at over 80mph and got up just fine. i kept racing for the rest of the day. was i sore the next day? yeah. but i lived. If you slid across a track with no helmet, shorts and a t shirt, there would be no place to take the skin graphs from to repair youre entire body from the burns. So full gear does make a big difference.

It doesn't matter about riding gear and all this other ****, the fact is that the evo with 650awhp beat up on a gixxer and a busa\

Thats it and I can say that at 150-160 riding gear and a helment are not gonna do anything

Your body can't withstand that much boucing/rolling around on the pavement even with riding gear

theres no way in hell a 650 awhp evo can beat a newer busa with a competent rider. point blank. the time it would take for that massive turbo on the evo to spool alone and the busa would be gone. that evo doesn't have a top speed of 200mph plus. the busa does that easily out of the box.

They only do 186. Like I said before a busa traps about 140-145. If the evo does that it will be a good race. Also like I said, my buddie has a srt that traps 150-155 on somewhere around 700hp.

he doesn't really feel a need to preserve his body. he is fully aware that if he wrecks even over 70mph on a bike that he probably won't be getting up from it. its his choice. idk why you have so much hate for a guy like that. say what you want but even having full protection on a bike going that fast isn't going to help.
