What an exciting morning.... I had to go into work early, to get out a presentation. I leave my house at 4:30 am..... hop on the interstate (it's freakin empty) and get behind a ford F250 pickup and we're doing a constant 90-100 mph.... then a newer 5 series Beemer comes up from behind (I see the projector halos in my rear view).... I start playing w/ him at 100-120 mph (swapping the lead).... then a newer 3 series joins in.... now we are cruzin (the 5, the 3 and me in my SC) at 120 mph..... the 3 starts to throttle down, I go after him.... I look down 130 mph.... the 3 is not letting off, the 5 is falling back..... I look down again 140 mph..... whew!!! I had to get off for my exit . I have never been that fast in my SC.... I still pumped up!!!!

So, I was extremely happy that the SC can run w/ such fast company!!! The Dunlop Winter Sport M3 V-rated snows... were very confidence inspiring at 140mph in 5 degree temperature....

It seemed like I had more left..... what is my real top end fellas????? I need to know where the limiter kicks in!

limiter I think is at 159, not sure I would have announced doing 140 though. Just be careful man!!!! We don't want any horror pics showing up of you. And I know the interstate was dead but you never can tell what will happen.

 

appreciate the concern .... the interstate was empty, I was more concerned about getting pulled over from not seeing the piggies in the dark

are you saying.... the SC will do 159 mph stock?????

 

Ill admit to goin 140 in my ss/sc.... and ill also admit that i just got stage 2 and when i get it on im going to go out and try to top her out! but I wont try it if there is any traffic in sight.
