hungryhip-ccp vs area47
keep in mind though I only have 200 posts so I might not know what i'm talking about

so in other words.. like so many other cobalts... mid 13's at some stupidly high trap speed... kinda like supras but fwd lol
Without DRs or slicks there is basically no chance of ever getting that much power to the ground effectively.... in a FWD...

CobaltSS1,13.18@108.05 w/2.11 60',I/GMH/E/2.6"/T/ST
thats from our own drag racing list
this car probably has around 280 whp Area has ~340 not to mention he miss shifted.
Yup. 13's... No problem.. Just look at all the srt-4's in the 13s on street tires.. Very easy to do. Getting mid 12's or lower on street tires is a whole different ballgame Thats not my opinon, thats simple fact.
well I think Area stands a fair chance.........I have faith in his child bearing fingers.......pixie dust owns all.......lmao......ought to b a good one though.....ashame u all r midwesterners..........
wow, i could see if it was a local thing in socal or ks, but imma go ahead and wager this race will never happen. i will say this the first 1000 goes to area, and then if hungry has enough topend he might catch him in the last few hundred meters. the cars being turboed is much more suited to roll races and topend runs.

and that wouldn't be a true comparison, due to differences in elevation, baro, octane rating, temps, and track prep, and about a billion other variables.................so back to my initial assessment of this thread.
