you guys ever have this problem? i literally can't get anyone to race me! i'm talking
friends, co-workers etc.. i know some people with some pretty quick cars too. here is a
list of my friends and co-workers cars i think would be good. a modded stage 2 with
toys neon srt4, mid 80's turbo dodge rampage truck with numerous mods, lexus is250,
modded 87 monte ss, 2000 something chevy duramax diesel truck with banks 6 gun
and other numerous mods, 95 camaro z28 with mods, 93 mustang 5.0 highly modded.
some of these guys run their cars at the track, and they run 13's and even 12's!
the srt4 runs 12.90's and the stang runs 12.20!! NO ONE will run me. i won't dig race because 1st and second are useless. LOL. (the stang and srt4 claim the same).
i want a roll race from 60-130. everyone says no way man, i've seen those cobalt roll
races on youtube and they are nasty. i can't believe 13 and 12 second cars are afraid
of me. i'm not saying my car is the fastest thing out there, because it isn't. i don't even care if i lose. LOL. i just want to race someone to see how i fare.

 

Take it to the track and run some one.

Keep it off the street.

Maybe the reason no one will street race you is that you're the only one who is ******* retarded.

 

My girlfriend is on a eclipse forum, a 20 year old just got killed becouse he lost control doing not so smart things. Like racing.

wow, i can honestly say i am a little bit surprised. i post in a "war stories" section, along
with hundreds of other threads and i get flamed. you have to be a logged in member just to see this section. there IS a separate section entitled "drag racing". maybe you guys should stick to posting there. ******* hypocrites.

 

No one will race you because you have a sedan. People are far more inclined to race the coupes with massive spoilers on the back.

Actually the war stories is not meant for street racing.

Says that right above the first post on the forum. It is meant to tell what cars you beat at the strip. The drag racing section is for questions on drag racing and tips and telling about what you have accomplished with times.

 

i don't feel i suck at driving. holding a steady speed at 30 or even 40 mph in second
gear then rolling into WOT results in the tires going up in smoke. not squealing or just spinning a little. i mean completely burning. it's called a good tune. if you had one, you'd know.

Probably one of the most ricer things I've heard. REGARDLESS of what power you put down in a cobalt... If you can drive.. You DEFINITELY will use 1 & 2 to your advantage and man up and race from a dig. Ryan from ZZP I believe has 510whp.. And uses 1 & 2 wonderfully. Are you pushin' that much hp big guy?

anyways, to the op, try to get those guys to the track and race them. if they decline just antagonize the **** out of them till they go. after the 5th or 8th time of calling them a ***** they usually give in.

 

yes i use first and second. i don't take off in third. LOL. not sure what you mean about
the "ricer" comment. what i'm trying to say is the car has severe traction issues when
trying to go WOT (or even 3/4 throttle or more) in first or second gear. BTW, i would like
to know matt's secret on using 500HP "wonderfully" on the street while on street tires.

 

fwd or rwd, if your car has 500 hp on street tires in the street, your going to spin. if your not spinning, your not going WOT or your just making it up. my friends have f bodies with 400hp on street radials and they even spin in the low gears on the street.

 

our track in our area just opened up, so i will work on it. LOL. a couple of the cars i listed in my original post have never been to the track. i always like to bet that the loser pays the other guys admission and buys him a couple beers.
