I got SMOKED!
I got smoked tonight. I was chillin down by the muddy (mississippi) with some friends and my buddy asked if i rememeber racing a Duramax like 6 mo. ago. I was like yea why? he was like that guy was pissed you beat him and spent like 30 k on his truck. Put two turbos and a huge intercooler and wategate....he somehow is using two chips. tons of stuff. bla blah blah... . Well about 2.5 seconds later that kid called him on his cell. and my buddy told him we were hanging out. He asked if I wanted to race. I said O.K just so I could see for myself. well, he showed up like 20 min latter and we went down to the flats and raced twice. The first time the dude that was trying to line us up just threw his hands up and droped em real quick so neither of us got a good jump at all. he smoked me when he caught traction cause I was spinning so bad from the start. so we line em back up and i told the guy. "Do it on 3!" So he did and we both get an AWSOME jump. he pulls like 3 cars on me from that point we stayed dead even. i was surprised but disapointed at the same time. i thought with all that work and how close of a race we had before he would beat me by busses. by the way I could not spray cause it was to cold and I took the bottle warmer off a few weeks ago. i think i seriously would have beat him from a 40. and i think by half mile i would have caught him.
afterwords someone was like yeah ,Tunk (thats the kid with the Duramax's name.) has a boost guage that go's to 65 and he peg's it out. And " Tunk told me he has like 1500 ft. lbs of torque" I dunno..... whatever it has its quick, consider my mods.

something doesnt sound right about that. there are just chipped and exhaust diesels out at my track that can waste me. there is TT old f whatever ford that is running a full 2 seconds faster than me

thats how it is out here man.. i love diesels my buddy has an 05 cummins pushin over 600 hp and my friend has a powerstroke 7.3 pushing around 500whp both are real close to me.. they stack their chips, more than likely bully dog or banks.. with an sct programmer the bully dog alone will give an additional 200hp its hard to believe but its true, not to mention torque is ridiculous they're no joke watch this video i actually race in it a few times its really good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pEt8HGCa1c

thats how it is out here man.. i love diesels my buddy has an 05 cummins pushin over 600 hp and my friend has a powerstroke 7.3 pushing around 500whp both are real close to me.. they stack their chips, more than likely bully dog or banks.. with an sct programmer the bully dog alone will give an additional 200hp its hard to believe but its true, not to mention torque is ridiculous they're no joke watch this video i actually race in it a few times its really good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pEt8HGCa1c

what doesnt sound right? im low/mid 13's 2 seconds would be low mid 11's. sounds about rite to me.
what 1/4 mile times are they running? i asked him what he thought he would run. he says he knows he traps 111 mph. im faster than that. i dont know if its just cause they are so heavy or what? there like 8,000 lbs.

ya, i know thier parts are pretty expencive too. his parents both make over 200 G's a year. must be nice. thats why i want to beat this guy with half the money involved. we'll see after i get my smaller pully, cooling mods and axles/tires.

Don't ever underestimate a Diesel....they can be made fast very easily.
First time I brought the goat to the track it was paired next to an older cummins....though it would be an easy win .....but I was wrong...he pushed out an 11.1 and it was his daily driver

yeah bully dog has a 4 banked chip. i think someone else has 6. they arent even close to 8000lbs btw. my crew cab 4x4 99 7.3l powerstroke weighs in at 7400lbs. and other than a dually thats the biggest mf you can get. the new 6.0 powerstrokes dropped 600lbs from the truck since they were a good bit smaller. im unsure of the new 6.4's but i know theyre closer to 7000 lbs. and if its a single cab 2wd long bed its closer to 6500.
