I also pulled off a 2.2 60 foot and ET'd at 13.9 (judging by the trap and the reputation of the track I should be around a 13.7 or 13.8). I shouldn't technically be able to beat you. Figure it out because your car is definitely not running right.
well i got dyno'd the other day and there is definitely something wrond with my tune. not to knock on PrOzac's car but we both put down 248 the other day and i have a 2.8 to his 2.9, i have methanol and he doesn't, and a "custom tune". my tune sucks. from 2500 to 4500 A/F is around 10-10.5:1 and then when i am at 5500 it goes lean, then back to 11.5:1. its all over the place. i think that i am getting robbed of alot of power just with my tune. plus the dyno that we went to in well known to be a low number dyno.

having a 2.8 does not automatically give you the power to break mid 13s.

My advice would be decrease your HP and practice until you can launch. Then go back to the 2.8" and it will be easier to launch. Also from experience, the 2.8 gets you a lot more low end power but not much at the higher rpm since the smalr pulley take smore HP to spin faster this results in difficult launches and not enough of a HP gain at higher RPM to break a faster trap speed.

There are a lot of people around here with stock stage 2 cars getting better 1/4 mile times than you. Power will make up for poor launch but it is not an even trade off.

Launch ability > HP ( in a FWD car unless you have like 300+ but with your mods I would not put you over 255HP).

first of all i know that a smaller pulley doesn't mean more power. but like i said in my previous post. my tune is ****. i am getting robbed of some power. the tune is throwing way more fuel at it than there needs to be. which i plan on getting fixed. and if you knew my mods before these ones i don't think that you would feel that i am no more than 255hp. i put down 236 with just 60#'s and a 3" pulley. thats it. no i have everything that is in my sig. i'm not saying that its gonna be 275 or anything but i don't think that 260-265 is out of the picture. not considering that a guy that lives in the next town over puts down 263hp. and he has everything that i have except i have methanol. i am getting redyno'd at the place i dyno'd the first time (236hp) and see where i am at. plus i am getting retuned hopefully this weekend.

BTW my bosses truck puts down 425hp and 425tq. if you were wondering.

tranny mounts, CAB's, and DR's will help u hook up.

Im still selling my ZZP front tranny mount
