So I was driving down the interstate and a 370z rolls up hot as I get off an exit. I don't do anything about it til he blows past me. That just kinda made me a lil agitated. So I follow him an pull up right behind him in the other lane as were going down the road. He cracks down on it, so do I. Tune On. I don't even start to gain, just stay there. We got up to about 70 before I let off cause of a car in front of me. He pulls off way down the road and so I do too. He gets out of the car and is some jock/golf guy that smelled like expensive vodka. I nag at him and ask what hes got under there. He was all stock(from the looks of it). So wtf guys? He pulled on me like a intake and tuned newer 5.0 I ran at the strip except I was spinning the whole time at the strip. I realize later I left trac control on and my iats were around 100. But still, I though those fkrs were slower than the 350...maybe I misheard?

Btw, my mods are Hahn CoolRam intake and CP, MPx IC, ZZP Catless DP and a full 3" MPx Exhaust with a Trifecta 22 psi Tune. No CELs.

 

Yeeeeea, they're faster then a 350. Bout a second in the 1/4, and faster 0-60. Not sure where you heard that

 

if its nismo then its 350 HP worth

Yea, pretty sure it was a Nismo. I didn't get to look inside of the actual car so idk. Guy was def dumber than me tho. Was trying to say his drive by wire was his esc for coming around turns, when I could have up and left him coming onto the exit ramp had a truck not been in front of me.

 

you would of been more pleased in a 30-50 roll race, that chase race sounds no fun besides you wanna beat them in a more fair race but our boost makes it look unfair

I didn't even pay attention to it. All I looked at was the engine. I was on my way to the fuel pumps when he started messing around so all I was after was a quick pass then go to the gas station. Then after he pulled like that I was so astonished that I couldn't hardly look at his car.

 

370s are really quick for being stock, will definitely take you if you just have a basic tune. need a beefier tune and you should be fine. I ran one with a pretty aggressive tune and beat him by two cars. They are no joke.

Lol, he was also a jock. I just say golf guy cause he had what looked like a callaway shirt on and khaki shorts. Thats another reason I was agitated.

Actually I think I could have beat him had I been next to him and we honked off without any interferences. Prob by a car or so. It just gets me that that thing was that fast. I had no idea a stock 370z was that fast.

people need to learn our cars sweet spots we don't have 60 roll cars lol if you really want to shine 30-40 and you will roll out on a lot

30 to 40 roll my ass lol i prefer 60 starting off in 3rd. that way i dont spin as much. but never mind your slow i understand jk

 

get tires lol....i spin a little as well but still do much better as do a lot of people

 

i got some drag radials on the way. but untill i started putting down a decent amount of power my star specs held great. but for now i feel like a boosted b series honda and doing 80 rolls lol

I run BFG KDW2s and spin at 40 until 60 when my IATs are around 80.

What tires are you running?

 

A fully bolted and tuned TC should be able to pull a 370z from a roll. My friend stomped on one in his tuned Evo X and I beat him by like 2 cars on the highway. And it was Nismo.

Yea, I am really starting to think either one of my lash adjusters is messed up or my tune is off. slobalt ran equal to me here recently and he is on the stock catback and stock fmic.
