Infinite G35 from a roll

A friend of mine brought me to pick up my ss/sc from the shop today in his g35. We left and he kept taunting me to race him so we squared up going about 25, I was in second, and we 3 honked it and went. I got ahead of him right away and pulled out a full car length right off the bat, i kept pulling from then on but a little slower, ended up with about 2 car lengths after 1/4ish mile.

We hadnt planned on racing so whenwe got to where we were going i asked him 'dude were you really on it?' and he paused and said... 'yeah man... those damn supercharges'

Nice I was wondering how we compared to those and 350z's. Sounds like not too bad. Any mods to your balt?

I've heard that stock for stock its a drivers race. Now get stage 2 and make that a 4-5 car length win.

Hey, loudog3114, you going to the CT dyno day in April?

a z with basic bolt ons will take a stage 2 balt by a car on the interstate also.. Be careful as what you run up on.

Not being cocky. Just giving a warning that a stage 2 ss/sc cannot put 4-5 cars on a well driven z with bolt ons.

stotte: they do make awd g35's.. Granted 90% of them are rwd

WHen I was stock a 350z took me from a light. but after that it seemed some what even. with stage 2 I know a 350z would still have a better start but I could easily reel him in a take em. modded 350z? dont know. dont even know that this particular 350 was stock or not....lol probably was.

well with just a plenum spacer, test pipes and a drop in filter i put a car on a stage 2 with a intake from a roll... from a dig would have been worse.

i have no doubt that with simple bolt-ons the Z can be fast but fortunate for us there are ALOTA stock Z's and g35's out there, especailly in canada.

I've always heard that bolt-ons do very little for Z's,but IDK.Either way I like Z's/G35s alot.
