Long story short, My best friend just bought a used 4 door civic si, bragging about how he took a Lexus something or other. Said he can stay at my bumper from a roll. Its his first STICK car ever so I dont want to embarace him that bad from a dig. So, roll wise I think he should be pretty far back.
My mods are in my sig.

I own an '06 Si as well as my cobalt. With my wife driving my 'balt, she put bus lengths on me and she can't even shift so well. I imaging an SC would do pretty much the same damage.

youll get him man. On a good day a stock si will run 14.8s

Thats the way they feel when you drive them. But they can run them. But they do respond nicely to mods.

 

stock people are running 15.5 usually...
but with i/h/e/cams/pulley/flash pro they run mid 13s

So....with full bolt ons, tune, and mild engine work they run the same as my car stock? So much fail.

 

yeah but you gotta remember how much money is that they spent, 300 on the intake 600 on a header 500 on an exhaust 500 on cams flashpro is like 700,pulleys are like 200, thats 2800 in mods and a car that costs more than ours from factory so yes its nice to be na but ill take the cobalt any day and spend what 1200 or so and run high 12 to low 13s on street tires.

 

It's so funny when people compare prices. No one cares, you can always build something faster for cheaper.

I'll admit I did too once, but it's really pointless. All that matters is how your car preforms if you're racing, or how it looks if you're in a car show.

If you do neither, then all that matters is that you're happy with your car.
