LOL well Central Florida Turbo has a 10.5 civic that runs on like 30psi, no power sterring , fully stripped for weight ect. - which will never be on the road so i doubt a 9.6 integra would be. A matter of fact I think Dirty Rice from Bull Run on Spike TV had a Civic with a K24 swap - it wasn't all that fast.

my cousin has 92 hatch with b18c running 23psi and he does a 10.6 in the 1/4 thats will a fully built motor.. so i find that number a little out there!! his car was built buy kaizen speed down in the US.. the with a professional driver behind the wheel that all he could get out of it ... beating 10 sec.. the guy would have to be pushing 30 psi i think!!

all depends on the intake and turbo some cars make more power at 18psi than 28 psi just for the fact that heat plays an issue and also where the most power comes in the powerband at the selected boost level.

In the 1/8....? If he's running low 10's in the 1/8 then I'm sorry, but it's not a 500 or 600 HP civic..

This 9.6 has to be in the 1/8 mile unless the has stripped the car down to 1200lbs or so. Without time slips and dyno sheets I have a hard time beliving this is a quartermile. Sorry, but I've driven/built a high 9 second car with my friends (we ultimately settled on a 10.50 car because we could be consistently there) and you have no idea how fast that is. People throw around 10s and 11s like they are nothing on this site, but 9s are a whole new world and I think there are only a few people here that can appreciate how fast that is.

I'm not saying it can't be done in an integra but if he has a 9.6 integra he better be on the NOPI circuit racing for money.

For the record the K24 is out of a TSX and is not some fancy imported Japanesse engine. We get it here. It's 200hp and has 10.5:1 compression.

if its a stripped turbo K24... maybe the 1/4 mile.. i would have to see pics of the car.

a K24 swap alone would yield low 13's with the right rubber, and driver. (8 second 1/8 mile)

theres no way it has a turbo on it if hes only making 9 second passes on an 1/8th track. (and its not that fast.) stop giving him so much credit. just cause a slowbalt ls can not keep up, does not give you the right to say "no cobalt could keep up with him"

but you are right, i couldn't keep up with him.. i'd be ahead of him.. i dont like sandbagging

Hes talking about a 9.6 in the 1/8th. Thats roughly the same as a stock SRT-4. I have a Talon TSI AWD pushing 30PSI sitting at 700whp and it barely runs 10.1s in the 1/4
