kids wanna go....
so my buddy josh knows these 2 kids one owns a 1993 or 94 ford mustang 5.0L with headers and exhaust. The other has a 1995 camaro z28 with the same **** added. Both wanna go sometime when its nicer out, I was wondering what your predictions are on both of these runs will be. Keep in mind I have a 06 SS Supercharged (putting on my B&M and K&N CAI as soon as it comes). Lets hear some predicitons!

the 5.0 will be close a drivers race id say ive beaten a few and im stock. the only way the 5 0 will win is if he has the 93 or lower ecu. the Z28 on the other hand will pretty much walk you.

on the track the Z28 will win if he can out launch you and drive pretty well, but if you out launch HIM and drive like a maniac, assuming he isnt a pro driver, you sould be able to hold the lead. i dont think the 95's are near as fast as the newer camaros... the 5.0 with just headers and exhaust, you should be able to take as long as you out launch him. its all in your launch. i have beaten plenty of those at the track, the only 2 that have beaten me both out launched me and definitely had mods. they were very close races, my front bumper at their rear bumper... its not very easy to out launch a RWD, but if you do you can either hang or win against these guys. good luck

well just got done looking up the specs on the camaro and they give the hp at 275 and all of the motors that even came from a corvette, now this is just what i think that it was under rated just a little more like 295hp or closer to 300 at that point, plus with exhaust to help him i'm going with the camaro but it'll still be close, do to the power to weight ratio there think those car weighed in at like 3500lbs

i raced my friends 95 lt1 on friday night, he has full exhaust, fat tires, dyno tune, and a b&m shift kit since it is automatic. Well the first race we went from i would say a 25 or 30 roll, we went until about 80 i would say and he had anywhere from 3/4 of a car on me to 1 3/4. The second race was no contest cause i missed a gear.. I hope its nice out this weekend because i believe i can do better.

You will destroy the 5.0, the Z28 will most likely kill you by a bit unless you can really out drive him.

personally it believe it will come down to the driver.. i know the camaro will bet you no questions asked if the driver can drive..
the 5.0 .. i have one but its been so long since its been stock.. Stock i was able to run 14.4 1/4 mile, times are definatly gonna come down to who gets the traction off the start
