so i was going down 71, and from rt 18 to 303 in brunswick i raced this turbo'd civic like 8 times and killed it each time, now all i have is the exhaust and intake for power mods, but i let the civic go first on 2 occasions and it took a little bit for me to pass him, but any time we punched it at the same time i beat him every time, i will have to say though that it was a fast civic, but its just funny how i will be going down the highway or any road minding my own business and any other tuner will always want to race, i guess i should still be driving a truck instead of a sports car, but its still fun

 

good kill ...next time you might not get so lucky, i hate honda owners but i respect the car....they got potentials if you know what kinda of swap and what kinda of engine take boost ....

 

I get the same thing in my car, Everyone always wants to race but, if I race everyone that came up to me every time, I'd go threw gas like underwear...but out here by me you need to watch out with certain hondas, theres about 5 or 6 local well known places that build hondas here

 

my cousin has an 11 second crx and it is a sleeper, i know a good amount about the hondas and their potntial, hell, i got a buddy with a civic that has a harrop blower on it and it runs 12's but he didnt tune it properly so its blownup for now

 

I have the exzact opposite in my shaved Sedan and I love it ! Catchin em off gaurd is half the fun...

Where in Ohio are you? Every where I go I get nothing except civics that cant stay in front for more then a good 10 seconds.

some of those civics can hang with a turbo cobalt if they are a hatch. Just be careful. Had one run me that was b16(head swap) N/A 11.5 compression and he was fast as ***** for what it was. Barely won by a fender, before methanol+2.8. (stage 2 retune)

 

A friend of mine has a 97 Integra and built the motor with spare parts from his Integra GSX no F/I or No2 and when my car was stock he beat me by like 3-4 car lenghts.
