Killed The Hemi r/t!!

As some of you read from previous threads alot of people I work with are into cars. When I first bought my cobalt SS/SC I got a few nice comments and alot of BS comments because alot of the people I work with either drive rice or drive v-8s. No one really was into the new aged compact american cars. I thought this was neat what I had, it was differant. No one else had a supercharged tunner car. Plenty of turbos sitting in the lot. Jettas, and stuff like that. Well, with being stock I could not touch the v-8 guys other then the mustang gts. The fastest car atm is a supercharged fox body mustang. It is built very nicly for a ford because imo I'm not into those cars. I'm a GM fan. I just got home from racing a friend of mine. He has beat me plenty of times but I always would have fun trying to beat him. He runs 13.6 best time and is consistant with 13.7-13.9s. It is a Dodge Magnum r/t. 5.7l hemi. I installed my injen cai and ingalls at his garage and then we went out for a race. To both our surprised this really did alot for my car. I was able to take him off the line and he could not catch me. That supercharger really winds out now and I can luanch my car very hard. I'm very happy with this set up and can not wait for stage II and exhaust. It looks like the super slow will finally gain some respect at work. If not, doesnt matter cuz there is only 3 more cars faster then me now. A new evo, 69 Chevelle, and super charged fox body mustang. There really is some great products out there for our cars and I look forward to new things comming.

Edit Post: Was a 2005 Dodge Magnum r/t Hemi 5.7l
Mods: headers, intake, 20" rims, hood scoop

Yea dude, Im in the same boat as you. I have Ingalls Engine Damper and Injen CAI. The wine is sick now, but I question the performance improvement. It feels like there is something and all but its hard to say. Could be all in our mind. Do you have an 07? Because your stock 1/4 time is awesome.
