KILLED by an Orange in North Phoenix

Hey everyone, i own an '04 SRT-4. I was driving home from work this evening when i saw an Orange SS coming up on me on 32nd Street, just south of Thunderbird. The first was from a dig but he had to shut down early due to traffic, the second was from maybe a 50 roll. I got massacred by at least two cars by the time we shut down at around 100. Anyone know who it was? I wanted to talk to him, but he didn't slow down. He still had the supercharger (i assume the stocker), but i couldn't tell what else. I have minimal mods, waste gate and stage 1 chip. This is the first time i have run into one, good race whoever you are.

Moved to war stories.

Kind of surprising to hear you got 'massacred', especially since you are s1. It could have been someone from GM testing the stage 2 kit. That's just a guess.

I dont think anybody that contributes here on the site has an orange one. (In the PHX area)

Why is it everytime I race an SRT4 I get my ass handed to me ?

Obviously that guy did something to his car to "massacre" you. That's not what normally happens.

When i caught site of him behind me cathing up, i saw him lean over into his passenger seat area, so i figure he was opening up a bottle, just a guess though. I refinitely respect his ride, i would have liked to talk to him, but it didn't happen. I will be much more careful in the future when racing one. For a first encounter with an SS, ill say that you guys will be much more of a threat in the near future to the SRT community than they give you credit. The supercharger sounds much nicer than the turbo IMO. Too bad you got straped with the 2.0, oh well. Metal Man in PHX on our boards is looking to get ahold of a PHX SS to make it "scary", PHX guys might want to hit him up. I originally posted in the SW boards to see if he visited there, but they moved my post. If anyone hears anything about this guy let me know.

Very few SS/SC can walk an SRT4. Most of the guys are still waiting for GM to get there stg kits out.

He probably had nitrous. Seems like an easy way to beat most anything

The only way I've ever seen the headlights of an SRT4 in a race was when it beat me so bad it encircled the planet and was coming up on me to pass again.....srt4 = f4sTeR!!!!!1111!!!uno!!111!!!

What did you have your WGA and MBC set at? If it was over 18psi then that explains it.

He has been here since November. I don't consider that new, regardless of post count.

Currently my boost is set at 17. It was set at 15 when i raced him, but i bumped it up after the run-in. I went with low boost becaue my car pulls massive timing at even a hair over 17 psi, and summer is coming, so it will only get worse. I don't remember if the bow-tie was there, i wasn't looking at the front of it for very long.
