my mods are (RL) - 2.9, 42s, meth injection, italianjoe mani, catted dp, 2.5 catback, cx racing he, K&N intake.

edit - i know how to drive...before someone mentions that.
Heat soak is your enemy. What do your IAT's look like at the top of 3rd? Also, you odn't have a header, that would help out the top end as well. What tune are you running? Timing? AFR?

Look up DCR (Darrel *** Racing) TT SRT4 kit...you're going to feel mighty stupid...they also have their own TT SRT

umm...you are aware that a 10:1 AFR is RICHER than an 11:1 afr right?? And a 10:1 AFR is pretty rich and NOT conducive to getting the most performance out of your engine

I tired of reading half way down the first page, don't look for much positive from people on this board. Sounded like a good race. There could be many different variables in that race. I don't think your friend would make that big of a difference but hell give it a try. I know you have meth but it sounds like you got some heat soak or by chance maxed out your injectors.

hey "einstein," he is right. 10:1 is richer. its 10 parts air to 1 part fuel. hence the air / fuel ratio

indeed lol, i just dont understand why some people dont give the credits where those credits are due. That car stock for stock is faster than a supercharged Balt and with a couple of mods they re beast. They are not slow period

the MazdaSpeed 3 has been called the SRT-4 Replacement. These things are hella fast stock, and can be modded very easy. If you get the right mods you can get these things up to 300+ WHP without an issue. I have been looking into purchasing one.

Once the cobb 1.3 maps drop, and they figure out how to get it to stop dropping boost at 5800k its gonna get even better. The Alexia (the europian version) doesnt drop boost at arround 6 K, it keeps builing HP up to redline. its same motor same turbo, just a different tune. As soon as this is cracked, and they use a map to keep from boost cut, and use a boost controller at say 20 PSI, id say it would whoop some serious ass. an FMIC wont hurt either as just that seems to help with boost cut and drop.

I dont know alot, as I dont own one yet, but I have been reading up on their forums and looking at their 1/4 times w/ slips and their dyno charts, and I will say stock vs stock the MS3 will whoop a Cobalt SS/SC's ass. I think it would even give a stage II a run for its money.

Throw an intake and a turbo back on these things, and its insane at how much you feel the difference. My boy has one, and you know that feeling you get on a rollercoaster when you go down really fast, well you feel that as soon as the boost kicks in in your daily driver, its insane.

Yea, I still think you are heat soaking. Your big H/E is really only good for like a stock pulley setup. After that, it needs help cooling your car down.

As for the Gamecocks, hell yea I'm keeping up with them. LSwho is up next. A lot of experts are picking them to upset LSU.

Did I say I wasn't slow? Plus, your definition of "slow" can be different than my definition of "slow". This is my opinion. So don't cry about it.

that's fine you're entitled to your opinion...I just can't see someone calling someone else slow when there are common street cars that trap in the 1/8th what you do in the 1/4 lol

lol. Once again.. Did I say I was fast? No. I'm saying the Mazdaspeed3 is slow. That is my opinion regardless of what I drive. Fast to me may not be fast to someone else, and visa versa. Comprende?

Interstng you said this. When we were tuning, my tuner said when he was pulling at the top of 2nd and 3rd, he could feel my injectors sputtering, and i may be maxxing them out....
