LS v.s. Hatch

the other night i got my first kill in the balt LS

it was like 11pm, i was coming home from work minding my own buissness doing about 65-70mph (65 was the posted limit) and i pull up on this primer black, fart canned civic hatch...i see two ,prolly about 17yo kids with there hats cocked look over at me and then they fired the cannon...im sittin there like "oh hell no" so i hear him floor it ...i downshift to 3rd and just leave him in my dust up to 95-100 which i realize is stupid but most of us have done it

anyways Cobalt 1 - Civic 0

Nice kill. Gotta show the punk ricers that even the non SC cobalts can wax them. I have pulled up on a few and they won't even look at me then as soon as my buddy in his Scion TC rides by they are all on his ass.

people WAY over-rate the Tc for speed. i DESTROYED one in my balt... i was really unimpressed, so i had a buddy of mine that i know can drive run me in his with I/E. he held with me better, but i still squeeked him out and by 70mph he was 3-4 lengths back

Nice, same thing happened to me on the way to the beach last month with one of those craptacular old honda convertible types. Cept it was 2 greasy old guys who were putting way more smoke out of their crappy aftermarket exhaust then im sure was healthy. My car was Still Stock at that point and with 4 people and a full load of gear for a weekend at the beach i still left them to cryin.

I raped a b16 swaped crx, but then two weeks later he blew the motor, Plus this is a guy that spent 900 for a header that gave him 3 more hp over the 400 header, he was always cocky as ****. No he doesnt come around much.

you gotta be careful, i tried that once, same scenario, he was actually a kid on a local forum of mine that i hadn't met. But primer black hatch with exhaust, i downshift, he downshifts, turbo spools, i examine the reaer hatch for rust.

nice kill tho

i always get a kick out of cars that smoke when they open up. there are few exceptions, but most of the time, it's just sad.

I raced a eclipse on the freeway today on my way to work. To be honest, the car looked kinda gay. It looked like a 2000-2002 Eclipse GT w/ the ugly ass square foglights, and some dumb graphic on the side w/ a transformer thingy on the back quarter window. He had I/E from what I know. Really didnt do much talking. He pulled up on me, reved his engine, and on the third honk we went from 65 mph, and I had him by 1-1.5 car lengths by 90-95 mph.

Other than that, I can't find alot of people that will race me any more. I think people are starting to realize what the Cobalts can really do.
