well i new i would get drilled but a yellow charger srt8 had the hemi sticker on the hood pulls up to me and revs at the light...i start to go slowly cus launching draws alot of attention and i wanted to see how good second really pulls..ill still play around a bit even if i know im going to lose so we went from about 45 and by the end of second he had like 1 car..problly would have kept pulling on me too but ohh well..just sharing me getting beat with my stocker ss/sc..cant wait till my mods are in..that would deffinetly have been different...by the way no cars out and i shut it down at end of second so my speeds wouldnt be rediculous on the street so no flaming

nope most people don't catch lights and happen to cross paths, its dumb to wait 20 mins to catch a light or go in 10 secs from a roll

given that it would be very hard to see the Hemi sticker on the Super Bee from inside a Cobalt, Id say its the DAytona.

yah it was the daytona exactly...and i dont race from a dig cus a.) its hard on the car b.) its alot more risky to get cought and c.) no mods yet so affraid of wheel hop and d.) i want to use my car at its best point and dig racing is definalty not its greatest points

Well, sorta, kinda See, performance-wise, theres three levels.

R/T, 5.7 liter, rated 340 crank, about 14.2-14.2 ish average

Daytona (and R/T with the additional Road and Track package) still 5.7, but rated at 350 crank. The only performance difference is a slightly better exhaust, and revised air intake. Average tends closer to 14.1 to 13.9. Has interior upgrades and slight suspension tweaks.

And of course the big dog But thats not the one under discussion, so we'll leave that for another day.

 

the srt-8 425 crank, i've seen them run 12.9 at atco

 

I have went at it with a charger SRT-8 I had 5+ cars on him by the top of 3rd. They are not that fast.

If you are worried about breaking **** find a different hobby. If you are afraid of wheel hop, learn to drive. If you car can't hook for ****, learn to drive, find a new hobby or car, tune the car, and/or DON'T RACE. If you are afraid of getting cought, race somewhere other than streets with street lights that may be patrolled.
