Kid at work has been hounding me that there is no a cobalt makes that much power. I drove the car to work. Still didnt believe me, dyno sheet in hand from tuner. I told him that we should run, and he said no i dont race on the street. Driving home from work, he pulls up on the side of me. Then hammers down, in 3rd had to drop it down and by that time he pulled about 2 cars on me. Got about 1/2 a car back and i couldnt pull on him.

How much do headers really help with the stock mid pipe and exhaust though?

Happened to me with a CTS-v... It was heavily modded and I barely got the 3 cars he pulled on me before I realized we were racing... You might have had him for a bit but in a long enough timeline he is just going to outrun you... se la vie such is gearing dudes.

 

Well you can't run the stock Y-pipe with LT's, so that means you have to replace the Y-pipe either way. The stock catback exhaust isn't all that restrictive (compared to other cars), so you could probably still see 15-20WHP from Long tubes with stock catback. LT's really help on the top end with LS engines.

Typically I won't race someone if we don't line up. Especially if they're potentially faster than me.

Line up with him on the real and it will be much closer. if you don't win, you'll scare the pants off him.

 

LS6 mani is stock in 02.

 

is he an A4 or a M6 he also has very little mods, you should see if he has any suspension mods on there.
