Plus the Roush engine is just A 4.6l GT engine with the Roushcharger... The GT500 is forged and alot bigger/better.

Even so, you get alot of car for the price. And like I already mentioned, you can easily push 700whp with a KB or turbo swap.

Sorry but Roushs and Saleens are jokes IMO. I’ve driven quite a few and they never have impressed me. I’ll admit the Saleen is a better than a Roush but is still not worth the money by any means. At the end of the day they are all lightly modded GTs that are way underpowered and way overpriced.

As for Shelbys having the same suspension as a GT that’s completely false. The GT500 suspension is basically the FR500 minus a few parts.

All I can say is drive a GT500 and drive a Roush or Saleen. The Shelby isn’t even breaking a sweat while the Roush or Saleen feels as if its being pushed.

I just put the EVO Stage1 Kit (JLT Intake and Tune) on my car along with a REAL KR Hood and let me tell you I’ve been in a pullied 427R and its nothing compared to an intake and tune on a GT500. The car still feels like its not even trying. It really needs a pulley or even bigger blower to really take advantage of what this car was really built for.

Here are a few pics I took today.

295s but they suck. Bone stock they would go up in smoke in first and spin a litte in second and chirp third now first and second are worthless and 3rd will sorta hook.

Yeah... and the same goes for all the Roush and Saleen Mustangs, too.

(Except the handful based on '03-'04 Cobras)
