ive raced them before, they arent as fast as you think. they have high horsepower but have low torque which makes them sluggish. i feel that is would be an easy win stock to stock

I raced one on the highway during the rockenbach meet this spring. He was going with some dude and I decided to play. I had to let go of the gas before passing him so I don't hit his ass. And as I'm passing him I just saw his palm on his face shaking his head haha. You'll take it no problem

 

shift at 5k every gear and youll feel like your in a r8. gotta make it fair :P

As a previous owner of an 8, there will not be a competition between these two cars.

By the start of third gear the 8 has no teeth, you'll just pull and pull.

 

Only way he would smoke you is ib he had a 20B 3 Rotor TT motor in there..

 

even then it wouldn't rev up to 20k. that guys elevator isn't going to the top floor.

after you mercilessly whoop his ass have him show you where on the tach it says 20k rpm. or ask him to show you by free revving.

just make sure you stand like 30 feet away as this moron decides he can rev up his blender to 20k rpm.

 

The highest revving RX I have seen (In real life, not whatever dreamland the RX8 driver is in.) Was a completely Built 12A, with a 3 Rotor conversion. And god knows what else. It would hit 14.5 grand, and sound like a swarm of pissed off bumble bees off the line. (It was also a drag datson.)

 

you will walk the rx8 even if you were stock, if its a drag, if its a road course you'll get yor has handed to you on a plater if your suspension is stock. even if modded?

 

Stock vs stock the RX8 will win on a road course. If the Stg 2 SS/SC has a suspension and larger brakes, they should be able to edge them out on a road course.

here is the real video. This was a really BAD launch on my part. Normally I would brag about a race like this but this guy was a total douche and was talking tons of **** about every thing to every one and kept calling be dawg and that really pissed me off.
