Gotta concur on that one. You can't really justify it by claming he "might be having a bad day" or "has to deal with a lot of **** daily". I don't fly around aimlessly in my car or start screaming at co-workers when I'm in a pissy mood. Not to mention when you enlist in a profession like becomming a police officer you don't exactly do so with the intetions of chewing bubble gum and skipping through flower patches; he knows what's within the limits of acceptable, hell that's criteria for the job. If the kid's not racing through gears, speeding, or peeling out then there's no reason for that. Some cops are lenient, others are *********... but 95% of the time you run into one, you've probably done something you shouldn't have. Then there are the rare occasions like these.

The cop was just bending the rules like you were. There's nothing he can do lawfully to stop you from out-accelerating a group of cars and getting in front of them... just like there's nothing legally wrong with him getting in front of you and doing 10 under, lol. Tit for tat.

Well I'm not really a "kid" for starters I'm 27 Its not like I intentionally out accelerated everyone else. Its not my fault people drive like a bunch of pansies when there is a cop in the crowd. I'm not one of them, I know whats legal and I'll do whats legal. If the trooper doesn't like it perhaps he needs to go back to the academy and reread his books or something. Just because he has an ego to feed isn't my problem.

Why do you guys keep assuming that I did a traffic stop for the speeding infraction that happen the day before? I said I stopped him, which is fine because I want to talk to him about the other day. It's not like I was going to give him a citation for something I did not witness while on duty. I just wanted to tell the kid not to be racing. Now if you street side lawyers keep getting offended, I'll keep that in mind next time I handle an accident where a 16 and 17 year old kid got killed for racing a drunk driver...

why are u takin it so serious.. if the cop is going to say "slow the **** down" why should you sit there and take it when your goin the speedlimit.. like you said hes just a human being and if he wants to be a ******** for no reason yell at him back, i give the kid credit for trying to tell him he was just going the speedlimit then the cop yelled at him again, i'd do the same thing.. i hate cops that think they can do/say whatever they want just because their cops. And i agree with what LamboW9 said about the cop pulling you over becasue he seen you the day before speeding, cops are not allowed doing that so why are u callin him a badass for telling the cop that hes breakin the law?
I understand that... but the people saying, "I hope he gets shot by a crackhead." or "I hope he loses his job" or "what a ****** scumbag"... its a little bit out of line.

Yeah, the guy might have been an ass hole... but that doesn't mean he deserves any of those things. I have no beef with Ozzy... yelling back at the cop is perfectly okay in my mind. Its the other people on here that are making the dumbest comments in the world.

I'm not taking the cops side in this situation. I'm just saying that some of the people on this forum need to grow up and stop acting like they are 2pac.

yeah the shot by a crackhead is a bit extreme, ******* definitely scumbag i don't think that makes him a scumbag, i could care less if lost his job though. Might've just been having a really bad day and flew of the handle. Maybe he didn't like your car. Probably drove a Civic Si and got beat by an SS

Getting over in the passing lane for any reason will always **** a cop off.

Its not really the "passing lane" if it becomes the primary lane because the right lane ends right up the road.

I was coming home from work this morning it was about 7am. I'm in the Cobalt sitting at a red light I'm at the front of the line in the right lane. Well in the left lane 1 car back was a State Trooper. I don't give him much thought pretty usual sight. The light turns green I take off like normal. No hard accel, no banging gears. The speed limit is 45, I go from 3rd to 5th. I look in my left mirror and everybody is creeping along. People in Gainesville, Fl are notorious for driving like retards, especially when the police are around... So I turn on my left turn signal and switch lanes, being the right lane ends about 2 miles up the road.

Well I glance in my mirrors again and here comes the piggy at Mach 1 flying up behind me. Had to be doing well over 70. I figure he is going to pull me over. Well I was wrong, after flying up on my ass, he slings the Crown Vic over into the right lane and fly's up beside me. Screaming at me. "Slow the **** down!!!" I look at my speedo, its dead on 45, and its 3mph slow so I was doing more like 42. I look over at him and yell back "I'm doing the speed limit dude". I was being respectful just had to yell over road noise, we were moving. He yells at me again, "I said slow the **** down". At that point I lost my temper who the **** does he think he is? I yell back " WTF is your problem man? I'm doing the GD speed limit? Either pull me the **** over or get the **** out of here!!"

Well he gives me the nastiest look I've ever seen. I figure I'm getting pulled over. How wrong I was, the lane merge was coming up and dip **** is still beside me giving me the stare down. He floors it gets in front of me and then slows down to 10mph under the posted limit. I couldn't pass him, there is so much traffic inbound in the mornings I'm stuck behind whoever. I was stuck behind this asshat almost the whole way home about 40 miles and he kept it 10 under the whole time. When he finally turned off I blew my horn and waved to him. Jerk off...
hehe. I had a cop incident last week. I was on the 290, which is a 3 lane highway where I live. Anyways, I was in the fast lane doing about 70 ( the speedlimit is 55 ), and my radar detector goes off with a "laser" warning. Well the cop got me, and just as I saw him I got into the middle lane. He pulls out of the barrier and starts to try and get me speeding up in thew fast lane. I continued straight, while he had several cars next to him blocking him in, I quickly pulled off onto the next exit.

He had no time to retaliate because the exit was so close and he was completely boxed in, so he had to keep going straight. Needless to say, I wasnt going give him the benefit of the doubt of getting off at the next exit to try and catch up, so I took off like a bat out of hell into the nearest neighborhood. I drove around in there for a bit, then took the back roads home. That piggy got JUKED
