Me vs. a WRX and a civic SI

Ok, As most know I have a 08' SS/TC with a muffler and resonator delete ... Lets just stock! 08 wrx + exhaust and a 07 - 08 civic SI + bolt-on's. I ran the WRX three times. 40 roll each time. I think by 120ish I had a car on him ever time. I'm glad we didn't race from a dig, he would have murdered me. Pretty even though. He got the jump on me the second two times, pulled him very slowly though.

Ran the SI two times. He says he only had a intake, header, and exhaust. 40 rolls both times, he pulled me until 60 when i shifted, he lost all momentum when he shifted. I put a car on him both times. I know he had to be spraying, everyone said he used to spray a 150 shot. I have put atleast cars on SI's with the same bolt-ons. What do you guys think about that? I don't know much about V-TACK

yeah a header and test pipe on those motors makes it a different car, especially when tuned. if he was spraying a 150 shot he would have murdered you and then his motor would pop.

Those SI's are surprisingly quick for the rated 200hp. Honda seems to nail the gearing as well!

Not pulling harder on teh WRX is surprising tho. Maybe I don't know the new ones tho

The newest WRX's are no joke stock for stock it would be very close. Now the Civic... unless he was tuned and had every bolt on imaginable it wouldn't be that close!

And it sounds like it does. An Si with I/H/E+hondata is capable of mid-high 13s, maybe better.

well he said an 08 wrx. the 08 wrx is kinda a silly car. THE 09 on the other hand dominates.
08 wrx is slow, he should have wrecked him off the line even. I was only wondering if it was actually an sti or if it had the cobb tune. My friend has the 08 wrx sedan with a cobb tune and we're suppose to race.

Hmmm. I thought it was out. Doesn't Hondata have stuff for the RSX-S? The engines are almost the same between the RSX and Si. You would think Honda would have something for the Si by now.

The Si also has the RBC intake manifold and the LSD trans. Both of which came on the JDM Integra Type-R K-series. So the Si sees more power from the RBC.

Good for you. S/C on K-series are junk. I doubt you'de pull a Si with a quality turbo setup and tune.

Nobody cares. S/C on K-series are junk anyways. I doubt you'de have a turbo Si with a quality tune.
up until now there wasnt a good tune for s/c or turbo. ik a guy around who has turbo'd with full bolt ons and he only puts down 260whp on high boost which isnt enough to beat me. cuz i have more tq than him...

Ok, a guy you heard about made only made 260. Well, it CAN make more. And more than enough to beat your car.
