modded EVO 8 with cocky kid driving
So i'm in my SS with 2 people and an EVO 8 with a bigger front mount and a loud aftermarket exhaust with a kid driving it pulls up next to me. And my friends tell me to rev up at them so i take it to like 3 grand and the kid and his friend just laughed at me really loud like it was the funniest thing in the world. (my car has stock exhaust and the small wing, and just a tune) So anyway the light turns green and the guy speeds up and waits for me to get next to him. So we go from a 40 roll and to his suprise were dead even then when he shifts from second to third i jump a car in front of him thanks to nls. He stays there until third to fourth where i get another full car on him. And we take it to like 120 where he stays 2 cars behind me. But the best part is that his friend in the passenger seat is laughing at him now much harder than he laughed at the cobalt. I've never seen anybody so upset over a race. Just goes to show you don't underestimate cars and always nls

Yeah i wish i got some stories in that thing if you think evo and sti drivers are cocky lamborghini and ferrari drivers are a whole new ball game. This one time a 50 year old guy in a 997 porsche turbo said to me that i was driving a piece of sh*t plastic car that is a disgrace to car companies in general and then he precceded to go on about how he could buy 3 of my cars and crash them etc. That was after he raced me of course.

I wasnt sure if he was gonna run so I just paced him at 40mph in 2nd. His front end was at my door and he punched it, then I punched it. From 40 to 120 we stayed neck and neck the whole time. But I serioiusly had the best shifts I've ever had in this car that night.

yes but if the kid wasnt the greatest driver and shifted slow he could have kept up. cobalt owner even said he had the best shifts he ever had in his car.

true. evo 9s usually dont do cams cuz its not as big of gain as the 8s. not really worth the $ unless you go bigger turbo as the profile on stock cams is suited for smaller turbo apps. even without them, car shoulda been in the 340-360whp range.

Same exact mods. Waiting on the catless DP as we speak.
From a roll the Evo's arent all that deadly, unless of course they're running a big turbo and alot of boost. The guy I ran went to the meet spot that everyone goes to on Fridays and my Brother approached him and asked him if he was the guy that I ran and he said yes. My Brother asked this guy his mods and he told my Brother he had bolt ons, cams, and a tune. The guy told my Brother he thought I was spraying because he didnt expect me to hang with him. And I'm not the best at knowing what Evo's are what, so I'm just assuming it was a 9 because I know it wasnt a 10 and it looked rather new.

No the only thing that provoked it was that I beat him so bad that all his porsche club friends that were with him started making jokes about how he lost. I don't know why though because his car was faster than the rest of theres
