Well, I called my friend up last night. He has a stock Evo MR but is soon to mod the CRAP out of it. So I figured I might as well get him before he turns over to the tuner world. We meet up, his car is SWEET. Now I know I wouldn't win but I just wanted to see how my car could do from a roll against him. (He wanted to go from a roll to because he doesn't like launching his car if it isn't the track) So here we are, 35mph, i'm in 2nd gear and so is he. 3 beeps and we are off!!!! The car had some turbo lag. I noticed it. Not a lot but I got a jump. The jump only lasted about a split second. That turbo is freakin loud on the evo 9's. Wow is it loud. Anyway we were dead even through all of 2nd gear. 3rd gear he pulled on me. By the time we hit fourth, my front bumper was at his rear bumper.

He was impressed and so was I. (my mods are in my sig) He is getting a full exhaust, tune, boost controller and something else soon. He wants 350-375 to the wheels. But yeah I was really surprised. AND I STILL DON"T HAVE MY INJECTORS!!! All I have was the MAF Translator set to 2% richer on WOT. I don't have a cel anymore but I KNOW my injectors are crapping out after 5900 rpm. I told him to wait a little longer until I get stage 1. He said I'd definately be even with him with my 7000 rpm rev limit and tuning. I'm pretty happy.

Yeah I know. He got it for about $30,000 brand new. He got such a great deal on it. He had 2 other evo's as well.
