My 07 SS/SC vs friends 09 SS/TC

Well for the first time since I've owned my car I actually raced it. Did it on the highway when no one was around. Only two friends following in a Powerstroke.

My SS/SC:
GM Stage 2

Friends SS/TC:
AEM Intake

Did two runs from about 55-60 mph to 120ish. Dead even both times. I was a little surprised at the outcome, I thought he would slowly pull away, but I'm happy with it. Hopefully in the future we can do some runs when both cars are done.

Yeah it was all for fun. I just bought mine back in January and we've been wondering how they stacked up and finally got the chance to see.

Very nice. I had a pretty similar experience with a more aggressive stage kit and bolt ons vs a stg1 lnf

But yeah i think a stock lnf vs gms2 lsj probly put out the same whp

Well when he gets done he wants to put on a head, tune, and exhaust. And I'm gonna have full exhaust, and GM stage 3. Hopefully that's done sometime soon so we can compare again.

The first mods every lnf should do is downpipe intake tune.

GMS2 tune is a joke. It's funny until the LSJ gets a hair dryer then it gets hilarious.

Nice runs. Close races are always the most fun. Now you have ran them mostly stock, the next go around when you both have the mods you listed will be to his favor, but nothing wrong with that!

nice run op...now you must go stage 3 before he goes stage 1, then pull him, then he can go stage 1 and be even...then you can go TVS then pull him, then he can go full bolt on and custom tune and could possibly be even, then you can go LSJ-T then pull, then he can go BT and possibly pull you and keep this going and going till the end of time

Yeah if he had a tune it wouldn't be much of a race. We just wanted to see how they compared to each other as they sit. If you want to go by pure numbers the lnf is 260 stock and the stage 2 is "rated" at 245. So obviously the stage 2 is a little underrated. After I get bored with this one (which I am right now) I'm going to get a lnf (hopefully summit white lol). I by no means think my car is better than his. But at least for my own personal knowledge is that the GM stage 2 isn't as bad as some think. Sure the zzp one is probably better. But my goal with this one is to see what I can do with it on a GM stage kit.
