My 2009 SS vs 2009 Pontiac G8 GT
So i see this guy hauling ass past me last night on Highway 114 and it ended up being a Pontiac G8 GT so i decided i would play and follow him off the exit to the service road where we did a few races.
1st race was from a stop light and as i was telling him go on green i was still in neutral and it turned green before i could get into gear so i F'ed up that one (he won of course).
2nd race was from a 40 roll (i was in 2nd) and i honked it off and we went and i pulled at least 1 car length at the start (i didnt jump, just my 2nd gear at 40 is MEAN) and then we kept on it even with a turn ahead and got to about 80 and i was about 2 1/2 cars ahead of him and it looked like i was staying in the lead but then i let off cuz the turn was kinda sharp and i didnt feel comfortable taking it at 80mph.
3rd race was from a dig (stop light) and this time i did everything wrong on my part. I launched at like 2000 rpm's and dumped the clutch not knowing what the hell i was doing because i had never practiced my launches yet, but anyways he pulled like 4 cars on me and i could never catch up. (traction control was ON)
4th race was again from a dig and this time i had a little bit better launch cuz i didnt dump the clutch and launched at around 3500rpm (still was a horrible launch) and he pulled like 2 cars ahead at the start and then i missed shifted going into 3rd which lost the race for me. (traction control was still ON)
5th race i said i wanted to go from a roll sense i sucked at launching and he was cool with it so we did a 20 roll this time and this was probably the best race of the night because we stayed neck and neck the entire time up to around 100 and then we let off and called it a night.
I had a good time even though i sucked ass at launching so i guess thats what i will be working on this weekend.

my brothers got one i smoke him every time, but im modded of course. they are sweet fast for stock and automatic, they are so comfortable toooo. he paid 25k brand newwwww. in our news paper the g8 was in the top five for best deals out.
