It is some Autocross edition of the GTO.... still a 5.7 LS1...looks sharp

first race was from a roll... 20-120mph...

Afterwards we pulled into a parking lot to talk about going from a Dig.. since he would probably benefit from that.. being RWD and having 275's on the back.. He didnt seem to understand that he would nearly dead hook with those suckers

Anyways, he pulls up next to me with a **** scared look on his face... I instantly ask if he is ok... he says yes. I proceed to ask him if he saw a cop or something. He said no.. "What do you have done to the thing?"

I told him my mods.. as we are apart of the same forum, where my mods are listed. I ask him again if he wants to go from a DIG, because i want to. He says "No, thats okay, not tonight" I am completely shocked, as any RWD car would wanna go from a dig.


so we pull out onto the main road after the roll race to head back to our where our friends are wating for us, the light turns red.. Then right before the light turned green he said "ok lets go real quick from a stop"

He let off at 60 with me pulling on him hard.

i do suggest though, getting a differnt gasket, the ones they supply are kind of cheap.


3rd gear pulls really nice now

 

1. Y'all gotta do that during the day or get a chase car with a real camera to film it. If there wasn't any blower wine, I'd have no clue a cobalt was even involved in the race.

2. You've got the mods to beat an LS1 from a roll, no doubt, but the boys on the GTO forums are going to call total BS because you can't see **** with those vids.

3. If he can't at least hang with you from a dig with RWD, he needs to invest in driver mod 2.0.

So you jumped the hell out of the Automatic LS1 GTO from a roll. You can hear his car downshift to first like 2 seconds after Syp floors it. Head start FTW. Then you lose from a dig, to an Automatic LS1 GTO.

Nothing was proven in your video, except the fact that you're good at fooling people into thinking your car is quicker than it really is.

 

^^^ you dont make sense.... did you watch the video ... the gto knew he was racing from a roll ... you dont down shift those cars at that rpm in a automatic.... just chalk it up man... the cobalt beat him from a roll... cant really tell about the dig race... give the props were it is given due

 

So if i race a car from a dig and by 60 im winning by about half a car, see im getting pulled, then hit the brakes and stop the race before he passes me, that's a win for me?

U can see in the vid if the race went longer, he would have beat the gto.

nice run...either way the gto downshifting correctly or not...you would have easily hung with him and been in front that whole time. the goat wasn't inching up on you from what i see at all. if anything it was the other way around.

 

Here we go again w/ the GTO owners thinking they are there cars are GOD among other cars! Im starting to think that GTO owners previously drove/owned a Mustang b/c you act just like them, you think your car is unbeatable and there is always some **** poor excuse to why the GTO lost or got raped. I dont care is your GTO is "Faster" than the one in the video, the fact and the matter at hand is that it is NOT your GTO in the video so get over yourself, and you talk all this smack thinking your GTO is king dick when in reality there are some cobalts on here that will walk your ass all day long!
