Your car isn't faster nor quicker than the GTO you raced. It would kill you with a driver that new waht racing is.

im gonna rep the balt but im not gonna lie , mod for mod , a 6 speed gto will take a cobalt ss/sc , i love the cobalt dont get me wrong , its a quick car until you start talking 12s and then it gets way expensive

 

Why are people with GTO's on this forum anyways. I think it's time to go back to your own site!! When you look at HP to HP the cobalt kicked the GTO's ass. End of story.

I had a SS/SC S2 and currently have a G5 as a daily driver so I think I will stay.

And if you can call that a win and not feel like a tool for doing so good for you. There are millions of videos like this posted on youtube daily.

What a gypsy. A 5.7 GTO and Cody's GTO are in two differen't ballparks. The 5.7 in the GTO blows compared the to 6.0. 04 GTO's were a mistake.

2.4SS/SC I sure as **** hope your GTO with a CAM can beat a S2+ cobalt, really that is like me saying my cobalt will KILL my 1997 accord. It is awesome that you have a fast GTO. But I think we all know it will beat a S2 cobalt. There is no need to state it 3 times in one thread.

It's easy to see who knows what there talking about and who don't here. The LS1 GTO was not a mistake by any means, they just aren't as fast as the 2005+. It's no different than the Z06 just because the LS7 came out doen't mean a LS6 is crap.

By the way do you really think your funny Mines_Better? My SS/SC was fast why you ask because I could drive. Just like in my GTO no launch issues or wheel spin that rookies complain about just a nice squat and launch.

Given there was a video all it proves is the good ole a car is only as fast as it's driver mumbo jumbo. So stop with the how hard is it to race with an auto BS, he hits it almost 2 seconds after the SS/SC. Do you people really think a GTO would drop back that far anyway?

 

^^ Your right, STOCK LS1 GTO's cant loose to stage 2+ cobalts. How could I be so foolish. Even if the GTO hit it 2 seconds late, according to you it would have stopped syps pull. And judging by that video, syp kept on pulling.
