i work at a chevy dealer and my service manager has a c5 ls1 vette (stock), he says it is programed. but i dout it. any way were going to race today from a 40 roll. i am tuned with hahn catless dp. and full 3in cat back with k&n and air box mod. and if i beat him he said he going to use a ls3 vette off the lot. i should have a chance with the ls1 butt i am going to get raped by the ls3!! i am going to try to tape it.

no zo6 just basic c5 (white). the ls3 is red. some one will have tell me how to get the vid on here after the races. i just talked to him and he said around 3 pm,( i hope i shut up his mouth) hes not a very good driver

lol this is kinda off topic but since u work at the dealership and something happens to your balt,will they be dicks about u having aftermarket parts and void ur warranty?

 

when i warranty somthing i ( the tech) is the one who tells gm weather or not somthing has aftermarket parts. and if for some reason i have to get on the phone with TAC the first thing they ask, has the vehile had any aftermarket devices installed. but a real tech that is working on the car will know if a aftermarket exuast is causing a prob. i have seen techs turn down cars with aftermarket parts when all it came in for was a airbag light. i call them doush bags

 

an auto c5 is pretty slow, you should really walk it

an auto c5 is slow compared to a tuned ss/tc, a 6 speed would be a better run

what do those things run like low 13's at like 108moh?

i started out about a car behind and ended up about 2 cars ahead, but every time i passed he would slow down, he gave up early. and he cheated!! before the race we agreed to do a 40 roll and the first race he stops in the road so we go from a dig i wait for him to honk and he just takes off, i stayed beside him until 3rd and then i pulled on him bad so he let off. the second race we wait in the center mediun for traffic to clear, and he just takes off again. he said he got anxious.

i should have video this evening when i get home, my wife is better at working on that stuff. (im not what you call computer literate)

im supposed to race the ls3 any time im just waiting on him to get ready.
