need advice

okay tonight me and my friend found a person from school and he wanted to race me in his 95 honda civic. i was like **** it what could it hurt.

civic has:
b series block (says because it has low compression pistions stock)
a 1.6liter dohc vtec head
cams and gears
big turbo, the side that you can see the turbine looking thing is about 2 1/2 opening(sorry i dont know anything about hair dryers)
front mount intercooler
boost controller says its at 7psi
exhaust
i guess other little nicknack things
says its at 300whp

cobalt:
2.2
with exhaust, ss sc downpipe, cold air intake, ngk 2 step lol, 75 shot of nitrous and driver mod v3.02noob edition
bottle pressure was about 600 psi and my bottle was close if not empty by the end of the race.

so we race from 40-100
i pulled from 40-50ish then he passed me and pulled to about 4 cars at 100

he wins and his friends were laughing and being really big dicks, then he calls us and says if we want to go for money. i told him no and he kept on calling asking so i told him maybe tomorrow

i just want 1 race on him, refill the bottle tomorrow and jump my jets to 100 for 20 dollars. he has a boost controller so i want to swap passengers to make sure he dont up the boost if i start pulling or if he even can.

should i go ahead and try my absolute best against him, throw all i can or should i just roll over and let the guy have his win and move on

civics can be fast if u do them right, only takes 200hp to dip into the 12's with the right person and modding. A friend of mine has a completley striped hatch that dynoed at 203hp.....he runs a 12.8 its all about how its geared to im like wtf haha
