ooh! I want to see this,i remeber seeing a vid of a G6 Gt 2 door beating a stock ss/sc,but a stg2 and a GTP is a must see.

 

i jus wanna read about it? i guess i would like to know what to expect. Guy at work wants to race.... if we do it, ill tape it. im going to try to get a dig, 40 roll and... whatever speed he wants to do a roll from.... He asks today how I liked my car and i said "its alright, not the best thing ive ever drove, but its decent." he says "yeah, I walk all over those things". coworker says "that ss isnt stock its got stg2 done" and the guy starts to back peddle a little bit and says "its just the stock ones i walk. Ill race u though... i think u will be suprised." so i tell him we will have to see sometime.... its bone stock that i know.

 

i'd like to see that vid, and if it really happened shoot the SS driver

i raced a g6 gtp he did not know i wasn't stock and honestly from 45 to 70 i had 3 or more cars and pulling hard

 

looks to me like the GTP gets walked. Actually it's pretty clear. you can tell by the tail lights on the G6 that it's lost. I've reaced the GTP, they can probably beat a stock ss/na, but not an ss/sc.

 

Cobalt wins like mad... a stock SS/SC will take a G6 GTP.

I ran against a 06 G6 GTP (3.9L) with the 6-speed back when I had my 2.4L Auto Cobalt. I was behind by about 2 tenths of a second at the end of the 1/8th mile and the only thing I had done was a CAI.

Those cars are too heavy to be fast.
