I'm just doing my usual thang letting some of the idiots here (not you) know that just because one person beat _____ doesn't mean that is going to be the norm. a while back, somebody hung with a termin thru third gear in a bolt on ss/sc. termi had bolt ons. bolt on termi = 11 sec car. bolt on cobalt = MAYBE 12's. most likely 13's. doesn't mean it didn't happen, just means the cobalt driver got REAL luckym

 

I think what people need to realize is that a half a second is a half a second...take a look at your watch for a moment and think about that...

 

Seriously...sure..in quarter-mile a half second is quite abit, but it only takes one f-up to take care of that. Its not like the story is unbelievable. Hell, I've seen a ton of sti's and evo's at our track put down 15sec quarters...its amazing how many people really cant drive, standard or automatic!
