Don't think so? Or do you just want to see an HHR get worked real bad?

I have drove both cars and to tell you the truth the auto HHR SS felt way faster than the cobalt ss/sc. Maybe im wrong though jus my opinion. i have yet to drive the manual HHR SS.

also big difference from 200hp compared to 260

Iam talking stock vs stock considering theres no real mods for the HHR SS yet.

Not trying to magazine race-but just for reference (Both cars are 5-speed manual):

HHR SS (LNF):
Zero to 60 mph: 6.2 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 15.1 sec
Zero to 130 mph: 31.0 sec
Street start, 5–60 mph: 6.8 sec
Standing ź-mile: 14.8 sec @ 99 mph
Top speed (drag limited): 143 mph
Curb weight: 3321 lb
http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...st+page-2.html

Cobalt SS (LSJ):
Zero to 60 mph: 5.9 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 14.4 sec
Zero to 130 mph: 29.8 sec
Street start, 5-60 mph: 6.2 sec
Standing 1/4-mile: 14.4 sec @ 100 mph
Top speed (drag limited): 145 mph
Curb weight: 2911 lb
http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...st+page-2.html

Seems like it'd be a driver's race to me. Both drivers being equal, however, the Cobalt is definitely the winner.

Two things that make it a done deal for me, assuming the LSJ driver isn't a retard.

1) '200' vs '260' - more like, 210-220 vs 245 MAYBE (dynojet whp)
2) 2900 lbs vs 3300 lbs.

Need I say more?

I have to disagree and even if the cobalt did win I know the HHR wouldn't be getting waxed, personally i think it would be a drivers race. you say waxed like the balt can pull 4 or 5 cars lengths on it. I have raced plenty of sc balts in my old Camaro I ROC-Z and stock they arent super quick, but i was also laying almost 400 rwhp down. Overall i think it would be a good race.

There's the key right there to why that car ran w/a ss/sc. A stock Iroc-z will not even be close. I know bc i have both.

wasnt stock 383 stroker motor with 6 speed richmond trans and 3:73 Rear end edelbrock headers and borla cat back exhaust, i completely rebuilt the powertrain. it aslo depends what motor came in your iroc 305 or 350 the 350 was ***** to the walls, with yours being a 86 i think that one had the 305 right?

2 things, every mod available for the turbo solstice and sky is available for the HHR SS, as they have the same motor, and i will say imo, hp has nothing to do with it, its the torque you get from a turbo set up, the ss/sc have junk torque.....

Yea mine is a 305...I've also ran the 350 Iroc's. Either way i know what the ss/sc has against again them. Plus with you having 400 hp in an Iroc it was clear to me that the car wasn't stock.
