hmm wow... first of the ******* remark about you living in japan was a damn joke, its pretty apparent that all i have to do is click on your name and find out every thread that youve been in.... Obviously im not that stupid, i wouldnt serve under a **** head of a president that your serving under right now...Thats why im waiting for his term to be up, till that other president comes into office and im joining.... Also, i never said that the damn subaru as in your sti was inferior to a cobalt or a cobalt is inferior to a sti....all i said was that a damn stage 2 cobalt will beat a STOCK sti...FROM A ROLL....I never said dig
Also, as you know most people are blowing **** up on these cars for what reasons? They have a lean ass tune, they overspun their blower, no supporting mods.... so on as you should know you owned a cobalt...Also yes there are plenty of excellent tuning shops for subarus but AR is the best go do your research on them and you will find that out...Im not sitting here acting like i know everything about subarus because believe me i dont... I actually do like the car though, and have tried to learn a little bit about the car myself... What were ur mods by the way on your old piece of **** cobalt??

Cobalts are blowing up because of poor engineering and substandard parts. My Cobalt had a 3.0" SFPHQ non slip DUB, Lucas 42# injectors, Doc's GM Stage 2 tune, K&N drop in, Ingalls ETD, GMPP Sport catback and a CM FX400 6 puck.

well sorry to tell you, and sorry for doc but thats your problem....That tune that he gave you was ****... Keith cpraider blew up he got his tuned by him and also jason got his tuned by him 2.7 pully 60lbers and i beat the **** out of him when i had a passenger in my car.... I mean theres something wrong there
Yes your right an sti stock will beat the cobalt in almost all forms of the game, BESIDES A 40 ROLL and im sorry i have found this out to many times from personal experience.... An sti wont win....

I think the word you're looking for is denegrating, but I know you meant. It sounds like your family is making out like a bandit under the Bush administration, you're right he's an idiot.
Edit: I'm still not convinced that Stage 2 Cobalt Vs stock STi is anything other than a drivers race. Unless someone knocks the STi I won't knock the Cobalt first. A Stage 2 Cobalt is a decently quick car for street racing. I don't street race so I went with something better suited for the track.

^^^ lol your a ******* idiot...Uhh no **** that a damn evo runs better IN THE 1/4TH but from a roll race a stock sti/evo will get their ass handed to them by a stage 2 cobalt...also my friend who has the mid 12 second wrx who will be a 10 second wrx soon will be in this thread soon enough to shut you dumb ***** up that have stis and evos and dont know **** about the cobalt or even your car for that matter

I can say this... because it happened to me. I lost by about 1/2 a car. You are under the impression that 40 roll is this amazing thing that only the Cobalt is good at. Wake up and smell the coffee. I raced a really good driver... and I'll tell you what... from a 40 roll, I think he brake boosted... and mother f@cker shot forward a car and a half. I gained a lot back... but it just wasn't happening. That was the 5th 06-07 STi I've raced... and the first one that I've lost to. Like I said, it's not impossible.
And StinkBOMB... you think you could find me a 98 Subaru STi 22b and ship it over? Thanks in advance!

ok guys im the guy wit the "fast and Furious" wrx...... first off sum specs were missconstrewd.. first off i have Dc sport titanium frnt and rear strut tower bars... DSS frnt and rear custom stg 4 axles.... a "frankenstein turbo" custom built by my shop, a custom precision fmic (3)core, wit injen 2.5in intercooler piping... 4.5 in catless exhaust, custom cage, sparco 4 point harnesses, autometer cobalt series gauges, utec ECU, wit 3 tunes( 1 pump gas daily map, a pump gas race map, and a c16 race map) meth injection, intake, forge recirc BOV, 3 step colder bkr9e plugs, DC sport header and up pipe, aem wideband, and this trans that everyone is havin problems wit is a full race squentially shifted auto... its the same trans that is in the "mean green WRX" frm all the magazines..... it is built by a company called IPT in NJ.... im runnin 22 psi and makin 315awhp and 345ftlbs on pump gas..... my c16 tune is a lil more.... wit pump gas on street tires i run a 12.6 at 110 wit a 60 foot of 1.6......... my race gas puts me at 12.1-3 at 117 wit a 1.8 60 foot.... wit sticker tires ill huk alil better and should have high 11s.....the trans puts me at 22 psi at the line and the 2 step has me smokin all four.... tomorrow mornin ill post up sum pics of it as i find my camera.... if u have ne ?s just pm me or u can ask me here....

He is getting another build come here soon that will put him to running 10's....I think a tuned 35r and so much more i have no clue..mhmm he has a 16g right now running 12's... what makes you think a 35R wouldnt make him run 10's???

Yep. STi's are rare over here where I'm at too. I've seen two since I've been here. You're a reservist right? If you are and go active duty you'll see that Okinawa is somewhat of an anomoly. I call it the island of misfit toys. We don't get a third of cool stuff they have on the main islands. And if you can avoid coming here, do so at all costs.
