Went to the local OCC meet the other week. Had a friendly race with another member with an Auto SS/NA.

We went twice from a dig. Both times I won by about half a car. He stayed on me but just couldn't start pulling away.

They were good races. He was cool with losing to a modded 2.2 too

 

Was he stock ?

 

Yep. Drop in filter at most.

It was a good comparison. The only difference between his motor and mine currently is VVT and 0.2 Litres of displacement.

 

i see..why do you have a boost gauge? im just curious

what does ur friend run in the 1/4?

 

With your mods you should be pretty even with a stock 2.4

 

because boost gauges make you go faster.

 

with a stock 2.4 he is pretty even against an auto at that. You would have a tougher job against someone with a 2.4 5 speed that knows how to drive it but a modded 2.4 no way. Good win though.

 

while were talking about gauges, would u say one would get the afr gauge for looks or **** n giggles?

OP, nice 2.2 ya got there. Go nail a tC for me while you're at it, all the tC's up in my area refuse to race me for some odd reason.

Or to get enough info about their AFR to get W!ck3d t00n'd. Wideband gauges are definitely not a cosmetic mod bro.

 

Because I have a supercharger waiting to be installed. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Only the mods on my car go in my sig.

If I were to add the things I had sitting in my basement it would also read SS supercharger, Laminova, Pulley, Heat Exchanger and injectors ect ect..

The SS I raced had an R.A.W. Cold Air Intake.
