Honestly though, I would never get caught going that fast. What were to happen if you blew a tire out, crossed traffic and hit a van with a mom and her 2 year old child. You lived because the van clipped the back of your car, but both them do not.

And I am a traffic engineer btw, and there usually a very good reason for the speed limit being what it is. They are there to protect the drivers on the road.

i know someone that was doing 125 in 35 and got pulled over by highway safety patrol. they called for a trooper to give him a ticket and kept him there for 2 or 3 hours and the cop never showed up to give him a ticket. LOL

one time i was racing a buddy and i hit like 80 in a 50 (obvious we were racing, i was at WOT with the s/c whining at the top of third and his fart can was making an uncontrolable noise) and we flew right past a cop sitting on the side of the road (it was night, no street lights so we didnt see the cop until our headlights hit his reflectors). We both sat there shaking our heads thinking 'we're fucked'... cop didnt even pull out lol. im guessing he was jacking off or some thing. but i pull into a gas station a few blocks down the street to wait it out for a few minutes, then about 30 seconds after i enter the gas station i see the cop haul ass past it and turn the other direction haha. What an adrenaline rush that was.

Just putting my .02 cents in... We all know that streetracing is illegal. We all know that people can get hurt.
There's no law saying you can't talk about it.
There's also no law that says we can't call you an ignorant fool when you brag about it.
So get used to it. If you don't want the flack, quit posting about it.
Not saying I don't race from time to time, but I try my very best to keep it under control, and I damned sure don't tell the whole world about it. For the record I will not exceed 100mph on a public road, even if it is deserted. I'm not worried about traffic, it's the potholes and general shittiness of the roadways that'll kill you.
