first off, sorry for no vids

there was some great racing last night up here in omaha! I got a few good runs in myself. The best part, was schooling these RWD v8 guys on launching, lol. Since I upped the boost in first a little more(I have boost limiting to help with traction) she really has woke up on the launch.

1st race: Modded LT1 camaro

All I got to say is TOPEND. Damn that thing has some top end. I thought I had him till he blows by me at the top of 3rd. I really need a cobra heat exchanger bad! I get him by like 3/4 to a 1 car on the launch, hit second, pull some more, hit 3rd he comes by me and puts a car on me. I'm right on his rear bumper. We pass 100 and he shifts, I start inching back on him and we let out. Great run, I honestly thought I'd get beat worse than that. He raced a modded evo before me and beat it.

2nd race: Modded Mustang GT (2000-2004?)

good run, he just didn't have what it takes I guess. I got him by about 1 car on the launch and pulled a little more by the end of 1st gear. Hit second and he pulled back to my rear wheel. Then I hit 3rd and inched away. about a 1-1 1/2 car win. not bad for a stock cobalt with a couple ecu tricks up my sleeve.

There was a c6 z06 out there tearing everything up. He even made a new procharged viper look silly. c6 z06>mopar. lol. The best part was when he raced a fox body and everyone was saying the fox body hung with him. I was the ONLY one saying that the z06 killed him. I guessed by at least 4 cars. Well, the z06 gave him a head start and still beat him by like 15+ cars. LOL. f@*king idiots were telling me I was being stupid and not giving the fox body enough credit. f@*k that fox body. He got STOMPED! but it was a great night and a lot of good races.


cliff notes: got beat by a modded LT1 camaro by a car, beat a modded 2000+mustang gt by a little more than a car. c6z06 owned everything!

ok, I guess my kill stories suck.

 

Once again proving that 3rd gear is waaaay to tall.

That's a solid loss though. My friend's bolt on LT1 goes low 13's at like 104mph.

 

yea, but if this car didn't heat soak so badly I would have pulled him right back. These cars need a better heat exchanger badly.
