Run in with a G35 Coupe

saw him on the highway and got next to him doing about 40 mph or so i guess and then i heard him go for it then i went for it and we stayed kinda even with him slowy inching on me then we stopped due to traffic, once traffic cleared we went again from about 55 mph and we jumped ahead alot better this time but i was surprised he didnt really get too far ahead of me before i had to exit the hwy. no big deal, just thought i would share. i wish i could afford one of these cars or id already have one.

Impressed you were able to hang with him. Not to sure on their quarter mile time is or how they are on a roll but i know their 0-60 is like 5.6. Way to go! Very sexy cars too, id already have one if I had 35k

1/4 times dont really apply too much when roll racing, either way its just for fun, doesnt really mean anything, a real race starts from 0 mph, but rolling is fun for what its worth. i have nothing to lie about here.

They dont apply if one of the cars is not racing or if one of the cars breaks early.

You could have a running start and he would still pull you in quickly and run away like he stole your credit card.

I don't see how a 2.4 kept up with a G35. 2.0L for sure, but not 2.4

yup, its essentially the "grown up" version of the 350 z (though the 350z is pretty sexy on its own lol)

I liked it at first, but it's played out now. Everywhere I look I see them.

Completely agree when it first came out it was nice now its a dime a dozen, once u see a "sports car" being driven by a middle aged mom taking her kids to school it kind of looses its appeal.

I wish they brought the Skyline instead of a cheap rip of!!!!!!!!!! (not cheap but skyline would have been better )

The g35 coupe could have been an automatic. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but i thought they have an automatic available. I think it is a lower HP too.

i actually test drove the auto 2003 version yesterday and it is pretty quick and very comfy inside, i would have bought it if i could afford $600/month! damn thats way too much money for a car payment. i would pay $450 month tops but thats even pushing it, oh well i just gonna modify this cobalt into a 400-500 hp beast and repaint it so my paint quits falling off.

Arent 350z/g35's trapping 100 mph or damn near it? I dont see how a car that traps 15 mph less can keep up from a roll...

I mean you S/C guys pull pretty hard on WRX's from a roll and you are only trapping 3-5 mph difference. 15 mph difference thats not gonna be a car walking by, thats going to be a car FLYING by...
