It will be an 08 viper, and yes it will be better than ur GTO. Sorry if youre butthurt.
Maintenance, wear and tear, repair, broken part replacement cost, etc etc... Don't be so 'MAH AWDZ ARE TEH INDESTRUCTIBLZ!!!11!" I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a great platform and all, but when you're talking about a DD, you gotta factor more than just the performance numbers. Cost is an issue with alot of us here, which is why we're driving a freaking Cobalt (:flamesuit

And I've been trying to convince my buddy who has a brand new EvoX-MR to let me drive it through the snow this winter so I can test it's drivetrain .... Somehow I don't think he'll let me abuse his baby
... That's really the only way I can see the practicality of a TRUE road test... most dealers won't give more than 20mins ... speed limits, safe cornering, etc etc.

If you want to run big numbers and have it be safe it will take work regardless of what youre driving. Either way, youre digging into that pocket book. Im lucky I still have 20k miles of warranty left. When its up, Im going to start bulding the engine and tranny. Once everything is built, Im going to run a bigger turbo and have a nice DD. Its gonna take a while, but it will be worth it.

speaking of car love.......
a camera crew followed him on a trek to a car show and one night in the hotel he snuck out and did some disgusting things to the camera crews suv!!!! his idea of watching dirty flics was to watch car shows??!!! he saw a ms3 on the road and was like oooohhhhhhh, look at that one!!!! strange stuff.....
read my follow up my worrying friend, i have a credit score of over 700 and got another job immediately after losing my one job. my payments went down 150 a month. so far I have been getting by ok, but thanx for the concern

Nope, not at all! I just find it humorous you resorted to what you did! when it had zero relevance to anything I or anyone else in this thread had previously said! still having trouble understanding? if so, I recommend taking an English class... Make sure you pay CLOSE attention to the "Reading Comprehension" aspect of the course.

I'm offended.
FWD is OBVIOUSLY the best drivetrain possible if the Cobalt SS has it... psh.
