Sick race

Me and two friends were driving around town on a friday night in my 05 LS. I was in the left turn lane when a couple of chicks pulled up next to me in a V6 mustang so I decided to have a ltlle fun. So, when the light turned green I gunned it and cut her off. she didn't try too hard. But this SS camaro pulls and next to me so I tried to egg him on. So, I gunned it and cut him off just enough to let him know. So were stopped at a light and a VTEC prelude pulled up and we all gunned it off the line and of course I was way behind be I was doing 120 (after about what seemed like 5 min) and they were a couple hundred yards in front of me so no telling how fast they were going. When I finally caught up the guy in the camaro said "wow is that a Cobalt" just joking around he gave me the thumbs up and drove off. Biggest rush of gotten from a race yet

well I wouldn't say we have a bad rep considering the car is pretty new ... I know honda drivers that do it everyday (see them in my everyday commute to work) ... it isn't the car its the driver

i know it's the drivers fault for acting that way but then again some people in here still hate honda's when they should be hating the drivers.

all it takes is one bad expeience and it gets branded in your mind and the stereotype forms.

first ever encounter with an SS/SC was about two weeks ago. guy weaves in and out of moderately heavy traffic just to catch up to me and ride my ass for a while, then does the typical ricer fly-by after i dont aknowledge him.

and i dont even know if i would call that a race.

i try not to judge cars from ricers that do that. i have cavy's, neons, civics, etc. do that to me all the time. i flash them my fake badge when they are next to me revving and it's amazing how they slow down and get off on the next exit.

thats a good one. i know it wasnt the cobalts idea to ride my ass, it was the drivers. but people will still generalize and think that all cobalts (or civics, srt-neons, etc........) are like that. just the way the mind works.

I like that idea, unfortunately the only "ghost" cars here are Suburbans, Crown Vics, and a Dodge Stratus...

you don't have to be a ghost car to have a badge. you can be a cop off the clock and still flash your badge.
