I don't think it'd be anyone from here. I mean honestly, who on this forum would be so cchildish as to pull a "You're worthy enough" line out, let alone on a BMW. I'm by no means knocking our cars. i love my S/C, but man, that's some audacious chit right there.

I agree. If it had been an SRT-4, WRX, or Evo forum, half the people on there would have been calling the guy a bad driver to not beat an SS/SC. But what a story... made me nervous just reading it.

Yeah, I agree. I was expecting a lashing, but no! A group of respectful men? Wow! I see to many bash our cars I was shocked by some of their comments, like" those ss/sc's are pretty quick". Thumbs-up to those Beemer owners!
The comments by the SS/SC owner, come on! That's the kind of **** that embarasses me.

You're right, I hate the thought of stupid punks creating that kind of image for Cobalts.

Yeah, probably because your average BMW owner is older/possibly more mature then many owners of other cars?

Revving the engine is actually a good thing pecause you want the piston rings to seat and you do not want the cylinder walls to glaze over.
Is this guy serious? Who feed him that line of BS?

I don't believe this story one bit, that BMW 318 does at best a high 15 after doing research. Someone is puffing it...

yeah thats story is pretty cool and accurate. I've raced two differnt 95 m3's first time it was green one. I started in 2nd gear at 35 he pulled half a car till the end of my third which barely tied me back up to him and it stayed even all the way till 125 in my 4th. Second time was a purple/ green m3 on the high way started at 65 in third he fell back to my rear bumper and he never could catch back up then we shut down at 130. Really close fun races with that car. Was testing the waters with the newer m3's and well basically got my ass handed to me from digs and rolls.

They didn't like me posting an M3 kill here a while ago but i made it look like a had a completely stock non-supercharged Regal.
