You run out of fueling earlier in the LNF and you can't make 550 Hp reliably. I've seen S2000's push 700 Hp on the stock longblock. I guess it's personal preference. I agree with OzzyRule on this one

Ok well sure its there, not a huge deal though unlike older turbo cars... and civics...

Idk to me the lag feels cool on a turbo car, to feel the power surge in and slowly push you in the seat. The sc car definately is touchy though and yeah it is nice to put the pedal down and be gone.

P.s.. anyone ever check out 4bangerproductions on youtube? Awesome channel full of nasty turbo hondas and stuff. Lots of sweet action and butthurt losers

500+ has been made reliably
700 isnt double and wont be anymore reliable
Dont argue about fuel both systems wont handle near that power level
Again I really like the s2k its engine should be talked about with other legends like the jz and ls line
Kxrida just went a little to far with his statement had to degend the lnf a little

Real st. Performance made 92x whp and couldn't get the car to blow, the turbo was maxxed and it blew a freeze plug.

s2000s make power. GTRs make power. Supras make power. Cobalts do not make that kind of power.

We are on a different level. a lower level that is lol. Dont feel bad about it. We are, what we are. Im okay with a cobalt having 300whp or 400whp, or 500whp tops... I dont expect anything more than that. Is it possible? yeah but I definately dont have that kind of money to throw away and neither does anyone on here.

But if you have a clean s2000, supra, GTR you can make some insane #'s reliably. I mean the s2000 with 500-700whp is pretty crazy. Alot crazier than a cobalt with 500-700whp. Supra's making north of 800whp are crazy, GTRs.... well, AMS AlphaOmega is all you need to know.

Probly around 20k in that car. Depending on wheel cost since I've never heard of them.

im still more impressed by a full weight car with some kind of comfort being fast than a loud gutted tin can that you couldn't ride comfortably in for more than 5 minutes without shattering your tailbone and ending up deaf.

they have their purpose i suppose but i would not feel bad about losing to a built civic.. especially if it's gutted..

case in point.. a "light weight steering wheel that can detach easily but looks like it belongs on a racing game at the arcade back in the 80's ..

I agree with you. As a street car, you should be able to daily it comfortably.

If you're building it to be a race car, then that's different.

Bahaha that civic is a piece of ****. Looks horrid, needs dr's to do anything below 3rd gear. Won't take a corner to save its life. Has so many holes drilled in it to make it light enough to actually go fast.

I've seen 9 second civics look almost stock and a lot better than that silver *****.

I do!. But I think it's a balance thing well for me it is. Obviously I drive a four banger so down low torque ain't nothing special, talking down really low where v8 shines. But to me it's all about. Balance and where the LNf or my LNf I should say power band is works greats for me. The the other day an asshat did something retarded on the street and I was at 3 something rpm and I had the torque to get me out that potentially bad situation. Actually a couple times now. If my powerband was higher I would have been screwed, well not screwed cause his insurance would have paid the damages but you know what I mean. So do you need it . No, does it come in handy **** yeah. I can move out without revving out. Also personal preference I guess. I don't want to rev high to access good power

agreed. sometimes screaming down a road at high RPM will get you noticed alot easier by the fuzz. It will also **** off anyone who lives within a stones throw.
