was at my local meet, and 2 kids walked up and asked a v6 genesis with a 75 shot if he wanted to run a stock srt4 with , intercooler and waste gate mod. i thought it was stock i asked. ok i see the game they wanna play. so i said well ill run it with my solstice. whats it got they asked. i told them its a 2.4 auto bwahahahahaha. they said ok. the genesis blew a fuse on the way to the run so he went back to the meet. it was obvious the srt had more then he claimed to have considering i could hear his intake and see all those nice little gauges. he wouldnt disclose any more mods to me or what psi he was pushing.

Stock for stock, tune for tune, the Solstice is faster. Nothing surprising from that video.

 

How do you like the new turbo?

 

spools as quick as the last turbo but you can definitely tell it makes more whp lb for lb. Car doesn't have that slap in the face feel of the 50t like before. It's more linear power, but constant and strong. Powerband definitely got fatter. I went to the track on street tires and it did OK for the boost setting (23psi) and no timing adjustments (11.8@126).
