Of course, there are other variables, but it is likely, not only because GM rates the hp much higher, that the GXP will make more whp than the SS/SC because it uses a theoretically more efficient form of F/I.

It also doesn't hurt that the 2.0 in the Pontiac has VVT and direct injection...2.0l, 260hp, VVT...that's not a far cry from an EVO engine in a 2-seater convertable.

0-60 drops from 7.0 to 5.5 (estimates as im to lazy to look up numbers).
To the HP thing, most of what I was going to say was already covered, but the point I was making is that the 2.0T will make more power, and thus put down more to the wheels than the SS/SC will despite it having higher parasitic loss.

They also have a twin scroll turbo which shortens the lag time even more. It should be a real beast. The only problem that I am seeing is the lack of larger injectors. DI is still fairly new and not really used (atleast that I have heard) outside of production vehicles.
