Sadly i havent had the cobalt down to race with my buddies in a month or two(been playing with the guys here in Austin) but ill be back down soon enough and will make it in the next video. Just want to share some runs with you all.

I agree, no idea whats wrong with that car. I was going to call him out a few weeks ago but the car doesnt seem worth my gas. Although the slaughter that would ensue would make for good youtube hits and bring out the STI fanbois to hate on the cobalt :p

 

Ah okay. I was actually a little surprise at how "slow" the first built skittle appeared as well. Was he having clutch problems the whole time leading up to the disintegration? Was surprised he didn't put a hurting on that stock turbo Evo...

 

Yeah pretty sure he was having issues, as that car normally pulls much much harder.

 

Cool. That makes sense 'cause I was about to say... A built skittle with a PTE 6057 should put a serious hurtin' on ANY stock turbo Evo.

 

Yeah he should because im not even sure i can pull that SRT4 when its running good and i know i can put a hurting on that Evo.

videos like this are good because it shows a bunch of random cars and random mods to give people an idea of what cars are good with certain mods...muscle, import, domestic tuners at there best...

 

Well good news then because i talked to the suby owner about what was wrong with the car. Apparently he had just a base tune on the car running 20psi, he expects to get returned this week and turn it up. Hopefully he will be pulling stock turbo Evos at that point

 

Sounded like an airhorn to me which is a good idea. Most regular car horns just cant be heard when everyone is running open exhausts and brake-boosting and ****. Cant hear my own horn when i brake-boost.
