Sport 2.4 vs IS250
Ok this one gave me a laugh and made coming home from work that much better.
So Im low on gas and pull into a shell to fill up. I walk over to the pump and start fueling up the car. Well the kid on the other side tells me "cute chicks car" I of course tell him thanks and that I like his moms car. The kid didnt say much more. Just a young punkass with his pants sagging and underwear showing. I dont think much more of it finish up and pull out onto the main road to get onto the highway.
So this kid apparently hurried up and got onto the highway with me as I see him in his moms is250 getting onto the highway with me. Meh whatever I merge over to the fast lane. Well he follows suit but in the lane next me. He starts giving it enough gas to be noticeable. I didnt really have any interest in racing an is (cmon im a 2.4..) But he finally annoyed me enough. So at 70 we both hit it and I slowly began to pull away shutting down at 115 at which point I was 2 car lengths ahead.
I usually dont get **** talkers so I was amused. I usually just get people who just try to run me.

hahah thats showin em, even a 2.4 with light mods can outrun douchers who talk ****.
i dont get **** talk, i just get an acknowledgement that my car looks kewl, and usually a roll up to like 80+ occurs.

well i don't race much, i can take most VW's, i've taken a few mustang v6's, a few mazda3's (with 3 other people in my car) and believe it or not as i can't really believe it either but i beat a Caliber srt4. i know i beat him because we were both doing about 170km/h and he had plenty of chances to pass me. and i beat a charger as well and the 2.4's if i'm not mistaken were like the second or third fastest in its class

oh **** i thought he highlighted the civic with the b18 swap. My bad guys lol. I think the civic would be more of a challenge then the golf with that swap in it
Man i just looked at it again and they guy had a b18b not a c with the b16 trans. A b18c with a b16 trans if a fun ****** ride. So yeah disregard my post please haha

The golf was only 150hp and an auto.
The Jetta weighs a bit more and makes 180hp stock. But stock they still dont run strong numbers for that power.
yeah honestly the b18b was a closer race despite the c making more power just due to gearing. The b18c kept falling out of its powerband with that LS trans while the b18b with the b16 trans was a much closer race.
The b18c was 3 car lengths at 100
The b18b was 1 car length at 100
The Golf I think was 2 car lengths at 90
The Jetta was a half car length at 110
Now I did lose to the new 2.0 turbo jetta by 1 1/2 car lengths at 80mph but was also racing him up hill so not really surprised he got me there.

Great Kill man! Our cars are great... I have my exterior of my car decent looking like tails and headlights smoked black rims and so people see my exhaust and think that is all I have but then they hear the intake but thats all they think I have but then we get rolling or off a dig and then a whine starts going haha then well too late... haha
