i wasnt even part of this race. I was pulling out of this camera shop on woodward ave because i needed to pick up some black and white film for my photo class which is the gayest class ever by the way. Anyway, i see this totally blacked out srt-8 pull up to the light directly next to me ( im pulling out of the parking lot of the photo shop) and i can see that the light has been red for a while and since there was no light saying when i could go, i thought it would probably turn green soon for them so i would just wait....wasn't in a hurry or anything. So right after that srt-8 pulls up, on his right, an srt-4, i actually think it was black also, pulls up next to him. I dono if these guys were friends or they just both knew, but they both launched HARD at green. The srt-4 just spun through most of first and HOLY ******* CHRIST the srt-8 just FLEW. It was pretty damn loud and sounded really good so im assuming it wasn't stock, but either way i ******* want one of those!!! has anyone here ever driven one? That thing had 10+ cars on the srt-4 in a matter of seconds. insane. i didnt realize those things were that fast.

 

 

oh it was the jeep btw, not the charger or the 300...so it was awd. god damnit i want ******* awd launches!

 

those jeeps can haul ass when you mod them good.

 

The jeeps haul ass stock, i beat one but didn't really pull on it til 3rd gear where it wasn't really a challenge any more.

 

that reminds me of my dads durango.... that thing halls ass he runs a 14.2 it has a 5.9l with some light mods..

i think dodge's are all around built to hall ass

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! i could have my snowboard in the back, three friends, and a ******* dog and WHIP THE LIVING **** out of most of the cars you see.

yea im starting to notice how amazing dodge's lineup is starting to be. there is a fast version of ******* everything! and they are fairly cheap really. My respect for dodge has skyrocketed since srt started.

those jeeps are capable of 12's all day with mods...yes, they are that fast.

 

12s are nothin for those jeeps ive seen a quite a few in the 10s lol

 

i don't know how safe i'd feel in a 12 second jeep.

yeah, 10 would be better i guess. 12 is a higher number, so that must be faster.
